These are the things which get you ahead in Life.

  2. I can relate. I grew up with bullies. They would use all kind of tactics to try to bring me to their level. Says alot about their parents though. Usually their parents we're divorced or single moms, explains alot. I really was a shy kid in my younger years. Even girls used shaming tactics like : your gay, your a pusssy, trying to get me to strengthen their princess syndrome and validate her. I didn't. I've always been one stubborn independent kid. If I compare their lives with mine now though, I wouldn't want to trade places :D I guess they behave this way because of conditioning.

Yes, yes, yes and yes. You're the first man I met in the last sixteen years with this precise sentiment. Everyone else in real life seems to be from another planet. Damn, I'm loving this forum so much.

The girls were the worst -- refusing to "validate" them used to have consequences. I became a social outcast within my group of friends. They would pretend to be my friend as a cover while throwing me under the bus when the girls were around. Some friends!

(p.s. - Here's an irony. Because I was strong and independent, the girls were immensely attracted to me. The only reason they joined our group is that they wanted me so badly. Not lying. I was like a piece of forbidden fruit. They'd all crave validation from me. I hated it because all of them were dumb as rocks and only had ONE thing in mind -- no prizes for guessing what is it.)

I wish I could say that. Truth is that my masturbation habit down these years has RUINED my life and career. I had a brilliant mind and could have reached places with some singularity and focus.

Whereas all my sex-addict friends are indeed more successful than I am. Some are widely respected in their industries. In the past, I would rationalize my masturbation habit with the success stories of my friends.

Not anymore. I don't care how successful a person is. I want to be in control of my PMO behavior.

It will take me a while to regain that positive attitude. And a CESSATION OF MASTURBATION is the first step.

Brother dont assume you have it worked out in 1 or 2 steps.... everyone on this planet has issues!
some people seems happy when they arent.. some pretend and do it well... some say they have it all under control.. some want you to idolise them because they have such great lives or looks so good...some have all the women, money, cars etc and still arent happy... In reality using porn shows a want to escape real life for some reason and that goes for anyone.. so they may not be at the worst end of it at this time.. but a change of circumstances or situation can surely put any human in a whole different place!

  5. Oh yeah, refusing to validate them definitely had conscequences for me as well. It lead to shaming, pushing and alot of hair pulling.

Oooh and I believe in what you are saying about the attraction. You must've had something they wanted! The girl bullies are soooo attracted to your good qualities and get so jealous, the only option they see is sh*t on them! LOL how pathetic.

12 days can't be considered nofap, is just an accidental break. 90 days is nofap.

  10. Okay. Just get back on track. I recommend to install pornblockers asap, so this is less likely to happen again. You can do this. Accept you relapsed, don't dwell on it and move on.

Don't worry. Reset the counter. You will do better next time.

    Do not give up.

(p.s. - As a side note, sometimes thinking constantly about masturbation acts as a trigger. Maybe stay off this website for 2-3 days while the urge is VERY STRONG.

Cultivate a new hobby such as learning a new language.

On YouTube, there are videos such as "Learn Spanish in 5 days." Each video is 1 hour long.

When you're not fapping, your mind works on the double to pick up new languages.)

While the pornblockers can help you get back on track, they are not a permanent solution. I learned this very early on in my Nofap journey.

While you can setup a random password for your porn blocker, I found there are ways to change your password to something easier to memorize, and eventually, I was able to uninstall the blocker altogether.

You will never learn how to ride a bike with training wheels all your life. That is all a porn blocker is at the end of the day.

It is better to just practice self discipline. Eat right, workout, and do everything possible to step outside your comfort zone.

I know it's hard. I've been going through my own shit too, but I'm pulling for ya. Use the blockers to get back on track, but don't rely so heavily on them. Peace.

  15. Yes I agree, porn blockers are easily bypassed. But I think it is very beneficial in the first few days abstaining, since the chaser effect is so strong then! For me, it helped me through the first days easily. I reduced the chances of PMO by 90%. Since I knew I had to bypass the porn blocker to view P, I was less likely to continue the search for P.

At the moment I'm not using my devices, only my sisters laptop. I formatted my computer and phones and stored them away. Since I don't have to be on my computer for study anymore, I see no point in having them around. I view P as a nasty parasite I don't want anywhere near me anymore!

I don't really need to watch porn to jerk off. My imagination is SUPER CREATIVE.

And that's not even scratching the surface.

I really believe that if a BEAST like me can learn to control his animal urges in the next 30-90 days, it will be an inspiration for all MANkind.

Every human being has the potential to be the best version of himself, if you don't feed that potentiel, you're just finding excuses to procrastinate, however if you feed it with ambition and determination, by setting realistic goals and working hard to achieve them, then you will thrive :emoji_muscle:
