Hey fellow fapstronauts

Feel a little stupid for being here, but im gonna try. I dont think masturbation is the "source of all evil", or the one thing that holds me back most in life like some of you seem to believe. Its a symptom of something else. Ive developed a couple of addictions over the last years and porn is just one of them. Im trying to reduce my consumption af alcohol and cigarettes as well, i just generally want to gain a little more control over myself.

So far the reasonable part. In the last few weeks i fapped several times a day and smoked packs. Im 22 and ive been fapping everyday since i was 12. I always told myself "Its not that bad, everyone does it", but this sense of guilt never went away. I had a streak that lasted few months when I was 16, that was when I met my first girlfriend and I generally remember it as the happiest time of my life. I just really wanna find out if that was a coincidence. Or to quote a shitty motivational poster I saw at the gym: I already know what happens when I give up. Now I wanna find out what happens if i dont.

My username might seem familiar if you watched the movie "Into the Wild" (If you didnt, go watch it. Great movie). Its just supposed to be a reminder that this is a journey seeking truth and maybe a more moral life.
