A quick question about your usernames

Mine is a play on Optimus Prime. I'm not a fan, but I just thought of the username on the spot. I'm a big fan of witty puns and slang terminology.

 

Mine is the name of the protagonist of an erotic story I wrote several years ago. Besides myself, if anyone needs reforming it's that guy.

 

Mine is because I try to fight through the temptation.

Metaxy is a word the ancient Greek's used for the space between heaven and earth. Where the beauty of man clashes with the foulness of man. It's probably the space where we should be living the most of our life in. It's always been a cool concept to me.

My username is taken from the film The Equalizer, with Denzel Washington playing the main character Robert McCall aka Equalizer.

I was inspired after watching the movie in the theater, because it hit home for me on multiple levels. You see, in Russia there are several crime families that own very large pornography companies, and alot of the time the women who appear in the films are not doing so because they are nymphomaniacs, love sex with alot of random dudes, or want to be famous in the sex film industry. They are doing so because they are poor, in need of money, and are easily manipulated into these films with lies and deceit. These women end up emotionally scarred for life and turn to drugs and drinking to escape the pain of a torn soul, that may not even heal in this lifetime. I don't want to get anymore detailed than that. But the film portrayed something along these lines with an escort service.

Denzel's moral character really inspires me, both on-screen and off.

 

Mine is the apocalypse ... for fapping. Basically, putting an end to fapping. It also has a religious connotation as well.

 

My user-name is actually a nickname given to me by classmates, when I went back to my home country for a year and went to school. The nickname was actually given to mock me..as I spoke English but they said I was too weird to be an American or "gringo" so they called me "ruso" or "russian" as they said I was better suited to come from there. They teased me with it, and it used to piss me off back at that time. I've since embraced it, and use it as an alter-ego type thing.

 

My name is just simply a dubstep reference towards the highest level of security the American government has: defcon 5, good luck to everyone!

 

cras means tomorrow in latin. It's a play off my name, but more important, it reminds me of the porn free tomorrow that I want to get to.

 

The phoenix is a mythological creature that when it dies, bursts in to flames and is reborn through the ashes. And Superman is my favorite superhero, with one of his main qualities being his refusal to give up on what he believes is right, even if society hates him for it

 

My username is a reference to the Game of the Thrones character Theon Greyjoy after(SPOILER ALERT)[NSFW]he gets his dick cut off and becomes Reek[/NSFW]. So in a way it references my commitment to NEVER faping again. Just as Theon will never be with a women again, I'll never fap again. And if the urges get tough I just think at least I still can but I consciously choose not to.

My name sounds so so French I prefer my second first name, Dagmar, but I hate to have a mask online. This site represents everything for me, so I figured it was more symbolic to use my real first name. The first six months it was cocorosie, the name of the band I am now - JESUS CHRIST time passes fast - since a year a huge, huge fan of. It also was symbolic, since one of the two sisters that are members of the band, Bianca, was the one that definitely sparked NoFap for me. I owe her my fckn soul.

My username symbolizes "getting a little too close to the fire." It has a sort of "fallen angel" connotation in my head.

Humans have 46 chromosomes. My name is a metaphor for a state one can reach that is tremendously better in every way - physical, mental, emotional, ... you name it. This process of evolution is represented in adding all of what you have gained to your genome in the form of two additional chromosomes (you can't just add one, most animals need an even number of chromosomes to biologically work). I just wanted an idea of massive growth and gain without a spiritual or religious context.
Additionally, Forty Six And Two is an awesome song by the band Tool. This were I first heard of this concept.
