    Hi Everyone

Im new to this community and happy that I have found a place where there are people similar to me going through basically the same issues. After many times of trying to stop PMO I finally found this site a couple of weeks ago and signed up.

I just wanted to find out if anyone has tried the Brainbuddy app on iphone. I was looking for a something that I could have with me 24/7 and found it today. Seems quite good.
Has anyone used this as part of the daily reboot to help them through the days and weeks as things were getting quite hard for me and found some of the exercises on the app quite useful.

    Thanks Jay

I just started using the app and it is amazing. I have such a reduced desire for PMO. I wonder how much content the app still has, I've only done 2 days, but it gave me such great positive reinforcement.

I checked it out yesterday and was impressed. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I really don't have a problem with porn, just an extremely difficult-to-quit addiction to M&O. Not sure that it can do much for someone in my shoes.

Yeh it is an amazing app. I found it when i was 20 something days into this. But just have to remember to use it when Im going through a difficult patch which happens to be most afternoons.

.. I think that the app is only available on the iphone. It basically tracks your progress and gives you various exercises to do during the day to help you stay focused. It you are feeling tempted there are exercise, quotes, etc that you can turn to immediately which can help you stay on track. I like it as its something that you can carry around with you and if one thing doesn't work for you there are other things the app gives you to help.

I use android. The only brain apps I've used are Lumosity and Elevate. They have nothing to do with PMO, but are great for your brain in general. Elevate seems to only be available on a phone, but Lumosity is definitely much better used on a computer, their phone app (at least the free one) kind of sucks and is too repetitive. Elevate is fantastic though. So is Lumosity, just way better on a PC!

Dude Lumosity. Yes. Finally. I thought I was the only one here that used it. I'll check out Elevate.

I may have to join you two on that one. I'm going to look into Lumosity. Also did you guys pay for it?

It's a free app but you can upgrade it to unlock new games so I'm sticking to the free one.
It's really awesome if you play it daily.

Even the paid version is cheap for what you get. I know I've spent the same price as the year subscription in junk food for a month, before.

So when BrainBuddy asks about spontaneous erections, do morning erections count? I know, its a whacky question, but I want to make sure I'm tracking all this correctly.

I discovered that Brainbuddy is $1.99 every week. I know it's a very beneficial app, but I'm an incredible cheapo and it's kind of a turn off... Ah well. I'll grab an iTunes card sometime this week. :p

  18. Thanks JayLA for letting us know about the Brainbuddy app on iPhone, I will try it !

I've been using this Brainbuddy app for a while and think all porn addicts should check it out who use an iPhone (as far as I know it's only available for iPhone). There's a daily check in where you have to answer a series of questions about your day (from if you looked at porn to how was your sleep last night) as well as daily exercises. It keeps track of how you're going over time. Another feature I like is your tree. When you first start, your tree is a tiny seedling, but each day you abstain from porn and masturbation your tree grows. I haven't had a slip since I started using this app (only started using it about two weeks ago) but there's also a section where you can track which triggers led to a slip.

If you use an iPhone, check it out. The first week is free and then it's a few dollars a week (I can't remember exactly how much, but less than a cup of coffee).
