Leaning on my faith is one of the most important part about this fight for me. I know that I don't have the strength on my own to get rid of it. I've tried doing it on my own so many times, and failed continually. Only by asking for strength and trusting God have I been able to stay sober. I know it hasn't been very long, but I'm trusting him to get me through.

Faith and reliance on God (or higher power, or power outside yourself, or something bigger thatn yourself) is everything. You cannot do it alone. You have to admit that your current mind-self is powerless without being given power from an external source that you must trust and rely on. This helps you realise that "You are not your mind" - all those thoughts and feelings and urges and rationalisations, no matter how "real" or "convincing" or "rational" they sound, are just the talk of your mind and your mind alone. Your REAL self is what actually sits and watches these thoughts go by and then trusts God to replace this thinking with presence and power, and capacity to live without the drug. By trusting God you trust him to give you the needs that you thing pornography can medicatively give you. You trust him that you will be at peace when you commit to seeing him and realising his presence in every conscious experience you have, feeling the underlying beauty behind each and every part of your life, painful and otherwise. This is the level at which real faith can get you to, and this is what I believe is needed to ultimately recover.
