Is being attracted to teenage girls a result of PMO or is it human nature??

Yep. A big thing for me is to get rid of the idea that, just because I find a person, scenario, picture etc. attractive, I have a right to sexual pleasure from it. Some things that I find attractive (in fact, if I truly want to enter into a monogamous relationship one day, most things) are simply not for me to enjoy. I have to learn how to say "no".

Way to oversimplify a complex and misunderstood worldview. Feminism is not about shaming men for their natural attraction to particular body types. Feminism is not about hating men, either.

Feminism is one of the most misunderstood worldviews of our generation. If someone calls themself a feminist, it's nearly impossible to figure out what that really means. It could mean that they just want men and women treated equally under the eyes of the law. It could be a rebellion against the societal expectations for particular genders. It could just mean advocating for women's health issues like birth control. Feminism is such a broad topic, and I don't even think feminists themselves can agree with one another about what feminism is really all about. I don't know where you're getting this idea that the one idea that unifies feminists is the hatred or shaming of men...

From real life and actual interaction with feminists. If you refuse to see it, that's your choice.

I've interacted with many feminists in my life, and there's an implicit assumption in your comment that suggests I either haven't interacted with them or that I have, but that I'm blind to the "fact" that the core tenant of their worldview is the hatred of men. This assumption is false, and it really says more about you than it does about me.

Some of the feminists I've interacted with are rude, misguided, disrespectful people who aim only to exclude straight, white males from any sort of rational discourse. I'm aware that these sorts of people exist. My point is that this sort of behavior is not representative of what feminism stands for. I think those sorts of people are tainting the generally accepted notion of what feminism is really all about. However, others are friendly, smart people who have a balanced worldview and really just want people to live peaceful and harmonious lives. The work of those people has led towards increased awareness about birth control, overpopulation, sexual health, and has brought us forward morally by allowing women the right to vote and to go to the same schools as men. Are you going to argue that because some people who call themselves feminists are rude, horrible people, that the ideas and values of the more level-headed feminists are completely bunk?

Sure, I can respect that. If anyone wants to debate with me about feminism, go ahead and send me a PM or start another thread.

Feminism has accomplished what it set out to do. Men and women have been equal under the law for quite some time. The feminism you described is no more and has been replaced by an ideology that hates men and wants to destroy gender relations. You may refuse to see it or not, either way works for me. Also, a few merry go lucky feminists don't matter when the figureheads and therefore the people which construct the very ideology that then they present to the masses are morally bankrupt and vile. A morally bankrupt ideology made by morally bankrupt people will attract the same type of followers. The good people that follow it are for the most part either ignorant or naive. Ideologies change, the early feminists were extremely anti-abortion. Not so much today, eh? Or are you going to tell me about the myriad of pro-life feminists that for some reason never really ever show their face, guess they only trust you.

First of all, I think we ought to respect the OP's wishes. If you want to carry this discussion out further, let's make a different thread or just send me a PM.

Would you mind naming some of the figureheads you're describing? I want to see feminism the way that you see it so that you can no longer accuse me of being willfully ignorant. If these alleged figureheads that hate men go unnamed, then how can I see them?

Start with Anita Sarkeesian then you can pretty much go through every verified Twitter account that claims to be a feminist. Most of the mainstream media is wearing the feminist badge, especially the BBC or The Guardian, anything related to the 'wage gap' is going to have feminists around it. Also, check out Laci Green's case (a rather famous feminist YouTuber). As for actual modern feminist literature I have no clue, I doubt they would be openly hostile though.

  10. Hay,

I recently got through some pretty bad POCD. For a long time throughout my early to mid 20s I found teens attractive, it was fairly normal when I was younger but as I aged I noticed it was causing me considerable anxiety.

After a while I came to realise that my particular taste in P was causing this issue, I had conditioned myself to fetishize younger and younger girls.
I went into pornfree and nofap in hopes that my arousal template would re-balance, and it did, but the lingering anxiety was still there. Whenever I saw a young girl with a pretty face or a developed body I made myself worry tremendously, this anxiety added to the feelings of "attraction" which only made me feel even worse.

Eventually I just came to accept that teen do have attractive qualities and that it's ok to notice that. Once I overcame the anxiety the fetishized attraction faded, I may sometime notice pretty faces or development but I don't really give it any thought these days.

Honestly if you want to quickly put yourself off any attraction to teens just listen to one talk for a while.

    Lol to your last sentence.

    Thanks for the honesty.

I think you’re right. My taste in porn was all over the place, but I had a few favorites one of which was the teen genre.

I also think you’re right about the anxiety. It’s feeding the attraction because when I get anxious it reminds me of everything which then feels like I’m still obsessing (which I am sometimes), but it’s the anxiety I’m obsessing about so it’s one big trash can of feelings.

How info have you been away from this porn? And the anxiety? I’m 59 days today and hope it gets better eventually :)

I’ll do my best to recognize the anxiety vs the lust.

Any tips on how you got to the level your at in terms of normal attraction to teens?

I just got back from a walk and it was like One huge test! Lol girls running, packs of them walking, 5 on bikes, one on her way to volleyball practice... and it’s like 80 degrees Fahrenheit today so yea...

I’m fairly sure time and dicepline is the answer especially because the more I think about it, the “barely legal” genre was a fairly regular genre I was viewing. I didn’t think it was, but after journaling since this thread, I realized it was. So much so that certain color pallets bring up sexual feelings. So as my sex drive balances out, I’m guessing this fetish woll be last to stabilize.

Would love to get your tips and tricks.

  14. That makes sense - because I believe no matter what anybody says, attraction to young healthy post-pubescent girls is natural. In fact I'm not even sure that it's right to call it a fetish - but each of us gets to decide that for ourselves.

Remember, “barely legal” is still legal!

(Of course we should not gawk - 3 seconds should be more than long enough, though I'll admit I failed that one a few days ago. This girl was almost certainly legal, however, for whatever that's worth. And she was wearing tight thin clothes that showed off something that really deserved showing off.)

  15. VERY interesting that you used "POCD", which looks to me like a parallel to HOCD.

And you are are both right: in HOCD the anxiety becomes part of the triggering mechanism, and it all becomes a vicious circle. As you discovered, the key is to not dwell on the anxiety, but to do something else instead.

So I think the parallel is happening here too.

I got into that in these posts [link] [link]. The YBOP link has way more detail: https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/exposure-therapy-hocd

Yep I agree, I guess what I’m saying is if a super hot mom was walking with her super hot daughter, I would 100% definitely be way more attracted to the daughter if I had to chose. This is what I’m talking about as a fetish and it would be even stronger if she was wearing pink or something like that (cuz of all the pink colors used on the barely legal sites). Having a healthy more level headedsexual urge for teens is what I’m talking about.

    I appreciate your help dude!

Wowzers lots of posts to this thread since yesterday.

First, glad we got back on topic after a stray to other PC topics!

Second, in regards to losing attraction to young fems once they speak.... EXACTLY! Lol. For the longest time I couldn’t understand how I could edge for hours to pics of teenage bodies and fantasies but see them close up in real life and not have the same feelings...it’s because when I am alone in my own visuals I put them in the role of seductress, or sex object to be used in fantasy where they act like sex objects and only speak or sound or act like I want them to to get me that orgasam high.

But I am proud of myself because I saw one girl today standing in line for ice cream wearing what I would describe as a pair of boy gym shorts (short solid color green with white stripes down the side) and a white spaghetti strapped t shirt. She normally would have been my next objectification release either as soon as I got to my car or at home, but I stayed strong and I made it to my next activity of the day... but real tough though!!!

  18. It's NOT a fetish. If a woman is old enough to have a post-pubescent daughter, she is at least near the end of her best years of fertility, and, from an evolutionary point of view, it is perfectly natural to prefer the daughter. We are most likely descended from men who preferred healthier mates, (though it's hard to be certain, because genetics tells us that historically, it has been women who did the choosing).

I am so sick of men being shamed for what is perfectly natural! Because it is men being shamed for being men. That is a tactic used by the kind of man-hating feminists who are destroying society. (Those would be the feminists hold the "All men are rapists" theory. Some of them hate their own male children. They infest academia.)

So far as the term POCD is concerned - attraction to postpubescent teens is NOT pedophilia. Wikipedia gives the definition of pedophilia as:

Pedophilia, or paedophilia, is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children. Although girls typically begin the process of puberty at age 10 or 11, and boys at age 11 or 12,[3] criteria for pedophilia extend the cut-off point for prepubescence to age 13.

I don't think that any of us are talking about this here. I know I'm not.

I hadn't seen the term POCD before, I thought it referred to a more general Porn-induced OCD. Then I did a search on the forums for prior references.

  19. On one hand, I envy you your health and energy at your age. I haven't had that much octane in many tears.

On the other hand - really? LMAO! (In a nice way, of course.)

(Listen to me. I know what I'm talking about. I have 0 days. Again.)

  20. Perhaps fetish is the wrong word, maybe unhealthy obsession is more appropriate.
