    :(
Honestly, I'm so disappointed in myself. Although I didn't watch P or MO and edge of any sort I'm still kinda bummed. I was on facebook and saw pictures of models and almost dived in. I was really close to PMOing. I just don't want to slip up again because if I do I fear there's gonna be a reset. Can I get some advice on keeping my mind off PMO and staying motivated?

Leave the internet now. Leave it for the rest of the day. Go and read literature on recovery like a book on sex addiction. Do an alternative rewarding behaviour like exercise or meditation, and do it to full effect and quality. Then come home and look at how your structure falled apart during the day and what caused you to come so close? Do a relapse debriefing even though you didnt relapse. Go through what state of mind you were in.

You stumbled upon something that triggered the urge. That's what happens. In my experience, there will be a lot that triggers us. What is important is what we do when we are triggered. You had the wherewithal to not PMO, despite the urge. Good job!!!

And, CommittedtothePath's ideas are all great.

Our brains got wired from looking at porn, and they are now programmed to fire in response to certain things we come across. We are rewiring them by not going down the familiar path. And, the brain will keep firing the same way until it is retrained. It's not you doing it at this point.

And, great job - posting is the thing that keeps me from going where I don't want to go.
