Flatline?

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Deleted Account, May 25, 2018.

  1. Just wondering but will everyone get a flatline at some point during a 90 day reboot? When do they usually come about and how long do they last for?

They come and go. One can never predict them. Don't worry too much about them; understand that they are temporary when they come up.

Hi Determined1887. Anyone can probably get a flat line or any symptom any day. The important thing is to deal with what you have right in front of you on this day. Are you feeling depressed or low today? Are you angry or anxious? Are you tired? Or are you in a "better place" today? Just focus on that and stay clean today. If you have that attitude then if a flat line ever comes, you will be in the day on that day, too, and able to handle it, and stay clean. But if you keep thinking when will I get a flat line, or when will this flat line be over, then you're not in the day. You need to be in the present day because this is the only day you could stay clean. The other days aren't here now, so you can't stay clean in those days yet.

It can take long time. I'm still in a flatline, but it is slowly getting better.
