I feel for ya dude. I just hope the same the same thing happens to me. I've never really had a girl care about me before and it would be pretty awesome if one did it would be a real motivation booster.

 

Good on you mate. Im pleased to read of your happiness. But remember, she isn't your source of happiness, that actually stems from your self-made decision to see to a challenge and accept it. Its called evolving, and it began when you decided to change from the old to the new and just BE.

I think having a regular woman friend in our lives can be a good help in the over all battle.

For me, I think about what kind of person I become when I’m constantly PMOing. I’m a sex crazed two faced scumbag when I’m deep in my addiction.

When I stay clean and sober I’m a cool person to be around.

I’ve made friends with a woman I really like and care about and I want to continue to be the cool person she likes to spend time with. If I go back to PMO I’ll become that two faced a-hole that will cause her to run from me and not look back.

That would break my heart if that ever happened. So I’m going to keep seeing my counselor and keep going to the SAA meetings. I like this new life and don’t want to go back to the old.

Don’t feel bad George, the most I’ve ever gone is 3 days but now that I’ve learned the negative effects of M and started an account on this site, I’m determined to reach inside myself and quit. It’s not your fault or mine. Pornography is one of the most tempting and destructive vices around and young people don’t even realize it because they’re not taught the negative effects of it. Do not want to sound like a jerk, but be careful if she starts to get close to another man. Even if you didn't consider anything romantic with her, seeing her with someone else can trigger depressive thoughts that can lead back to PMO. Or maybe that is just me, but still, i wanted to warn.

 

It's NICE when you meet a girl that you find attractive. I have been there.

Even just being friends with an attractive girl helps because she's "subconsciously" teaching you how to treat an attractive girl the right way. Just be sure that she's not married otherwise her husband will get jealous.

There is a soothing healing when an attractive girl is around you. If you two are just friends, ask her about the tips on how to get women. It'll make her feel very special BECAUSE it tells her you really trust her.

I know exactly how you feel. It's a nice feeling even if it's just friends with an attractive girl.

 

It's always a bummer and even emotionally painful when that happens, but I see it as fuel for motivation. I always take a good hard look at myself and think "what do I not have?" - and work on it. It can be a positive thing if you know how to turn pain into motivation. I don't know about you guys, but music helps me alot in the motivation department as well, it works as an aid.
