Need advice. 3 years in and can't get to more than 20 days. Want to stop forever.

I have been struggling to quit PMO for 3 years now, have used porn blockers, but couldn't make it more than 20 days....

Since I am pretty skilled with computers, I ALWAYS find a way to get to porn. I have blocked nearly every category in K9 (torrents, pictures, videos, online storage, etc), but always find alternative ways to access porn (usually by googling specific keywords that get me to websites that are not labeled in any type of filter, hence find porn in less than an hour of searching). I don't have access to the configurations anymore since I randomized the email and password.

    Back story:

I first ejaculated at 19 years old (pretty late I know). I then searched about positives/negatives of masturbation/ejaculation, which led me to nofap on reddit. So I read about other peoples addictions, and started using porn frequently. Every since, I think I am addicted. I am 22 now... I have been trying to stop for 3 years now.

I want to stop masturbating because I didn't have this problem at a young age. I believe I negatively influenced myself into this :/

    Please help.

I need suggestions and advice. Your writings will not be in vain. I will be grateful for every bit of advice.

    Thanks.

Personally I think using K9 and similar stuff is bullshit.

The best and most effective way to do this is not to lay down obstacles for yourself to make your life harder finding porn. The #1 solution is to stop looking in the first place. K9 can only do so much as you yourself have discovered.

You need to have the discipline to just stop looking for the easy way out. Porn doesn't just force itself upon you, you "invite" it in when you decide to type every single letter in that google search.

It's obviously not easy but ultimately only discipline and self-motivation will get you through this. That's my opinion.

Lightly snapping a rubber band on my wrist whenever I have a sexual thought or start fantasizing or have a desire to seek out porn or masturbate has worked really well for me. It lets me be mindful before I do anything that might trigger a relapse.

I really with what Ghost. says. Ok it might be useful for some people to use porn blockers and stuff but don't fool yourself, if you're not able to resist without a porn blocker, you'll never make it and have to work more on yourself.

Yeah Ghost is right. I am focusing on the wrong thing. I should focus on the root of the problem, which is clearly not what I am doing right now. That changes my definition of what a relapse is, and I totally agree with it.
Ill take that advice and see where it gets me.
    Thank you!

    @KrmGrn
That can work. Ill try that.
    Thank you
