Hey guys I'm 21 years old and I'm fapping with porn since I am 14-15 even 12 I don't really know. I saw this nofap thing in the end of march this year. First of all I had depression and didn't go out that much plus never had a girlfriend even that I'm good looking. My job career did get bad my cousins all of them have better jobs for now. I'm 21 and I can't even get my driving license I'm studying at home which I'm fine and if I go to the test I always fail. I always have brain fog. I used to fap to porn ever day 1 time no more because I didn't had that drive to do one more time. Everybody knows watching porn gets bad every time because u don't watch normal porn transwoman or the other dumb.things I was like that too. I began nofap and I directly noticed the energy increase in day 3 where I didn't had to go to sleep for couple of hours after work. I did 14days everything what I saw on this day give me the strongest urge I ever had I relapsed with porn and I noticed better errections even that I fapped to porn. After that I continued 5 days and relapsed again then 7 days then 7 days again then 5. And today I was on my day 8 and I relapsed again because my sleep rhythm is fucked up and I wanted to sleep today I fapped 2 times this urge... Guys I am noticing that I'm on the right way but something is missing I started to lift again even tough it was 1 time yesterday. I take zinc I take vitamin d3 and magnesium those are things that boost your testosterone. I'm really done with my life and I want to change something get my driving license get a better job car girlfriend I see those changes even tho they are just 1 week I can't imagine if I reach 1 month. Guys please give me tips I nearly watched all nofap relapse videos but idk I'm relapsing . Sorry for this text I hope it is readable because my English isn't that good. I wish you guys very good week see ya

If you can do nofap for a week thats not bad, thats already better than 80% of the humans. If you feel intense urges you just gotta move your mind towards something else, because if you think about not masturbating you will think about it even more, you just gotta do the shift of mind, you can earn that skill Rix, its about time

Hey Rix! What has worked for me so far is seeking that feeling of feeling bit better everyday without fapping.
I put into account... how am I feeling today? great and confident (every day more and more)!. Then I asked myself... what If I fap or watch some porn... then I realize that I would go back to the beginning and start dealing with depression again, and certainly would like to!
Everyone can relapse, really, but what is important is that you keep trying!
94d33m is right, you have to trick your mind and move towards something else, the tiniest switch will make a difference

  6. Hi. Welcome to forum!

Make sure you crate a personal journal thread in Reboot Logs section and blog there on a regular basis. As well as just generally be active participant in various forum discussions. I recommend this to everybody new here because it's the major thing that helped me when I was first starting. Just lurking on forums, reading and learning is great. But it usually is so much more powerful to engage. It helps to keep us motivated and accountable when we are active part of community. And keeps this in front of our minds so we don't forget about importance of it and slip away in our old habits. Sharing is also therapeutic. This is a major reason why AA meetings work so good. But that was developed before internet era. These days we can get most of the same benefits online through communities like this. So don't underestimate the power of active participation.

I would also like to suggest you to look into mindfulness meditation. It has helped me personally tremendously to learn how to deal with urges. It takes a while to get good at it and notice results, so you need to be consistent with it, but once you do it's very powerful. It has been used by sages for thousands of years to deal with various issues of the mind. And in recent decades the science is also catching up to what ancient sages have know for centuries. Meditation these days are widely used as very effective tool by psychologists for treating addiction and by neurologists for supporting recovery of the brain. It is a great exercise for the brain the same way as jogging is great exercise for the body. Check out this Ted talk, it gives a good idea of what's it about when it comes to philosophy. As far as practical side of it there is this awesome smartphone app called Headspace for guided meditations to get you started.

Wish you lot's of strength and success in your reboot journey!
