Honestly, I think we've all seen this about a million times:
    Motivation help?
    I relapsed... Lost all drive...
How do you keep your determination after umpteen hundred days?

Let's address this problem my dear fapstronauts because this is a problem we all go through. Please try to answer these two general problems:
How do you get back on track after a reboot?
How do you stay motivated during long streaks?

Lets make this a thread that everyone can come to for that extra boost we need sometimes. If you have better questions or something your struggling with don't hesitate to put it in the reply.

After a reboot with me I usually try to visualize myself at one week. It really helps me to get past the chaser.

After about a few days sometimes I get unmotivated to combat this I meditate and read some of the success stories on the forums.

truth is, its not easy at all. I stopped cold turkey back in August, and believe me, the longer the time spanned, the harder it seems to be getting, several times, I was starting to M and then i'd remind myself how many days I'd made it, and I didn't wanna mess that up. (still don't) As far as P goes, so far I haven't actively seeked any out, but there was soft-core stuff I unintentionally saw on instagram, but so far I have been able to get away from it almost immediately. My main motivation tho is that I've come so far, why would I quit now?? if I can make it 10, why not 20? Also I don't ever plan to PMO again...

Many have asked me this as I was going through the 90 days and have asked others the same as well. What drives you? What do you want for yourself. I want success, two fold (financial, mental freedom). And for those that do, time management/having energy is one of the keys.

But before I get into the two: I NO LONGER WANTED TO LOOK PATHETIC ALL QUIET AT NIGHT JACKIN OFF, WATCHING FAKE SEX ON A SCREEN.

If you are wasting an hour or two or three watching porn every day or every other day you are significantly cutting down the time of your life you could be doing things that can make you successful. If you are just watching 10-20 minute clips a day, binges are frequent and you are still wasting so much time. Plus you need to allow your brain to get used to accepting other kind of information, and you can't do that if you are stuck in the porn pit.

With regards to mental freedom, what I want is more control of my own emotions, to let things go easier without immediately seeking an escape. I don't want to need something to make myself feel better, or have a dependency on something, Specially watching other people stage sex on a screen, that they aren't even enjoying. Fck that. I am stronger then that. We all are.

Someone posted this brilliant page that helped me realize how much time I had wasted, and this greatly helped my reboot: http://compulsionsolutions.com/porn-use-calculator-2/

Lastly, it's the fact that I no longer want to be a consumer of the porn industry. I don't want to give them any more money. (Remember that some of the big porn companies have deals/own some of the free sites, so if you are watching porn for free you are still making them money. And even if you stick to torrenting files, the sites where you can do this still make money off the ads/or image previews which go right back to the big porn companies)

By not participating in this industry I hope I can:
curtail even if it's .005% the growing trend of my fellow men to want sicker and sicker stuff to watch and do to women, the exploitation of many women "actresses", the link to prostitution and porn, and the prevailing thought in our culture that porn is ok.

Porn is not okay! Porn is not okay! Fuck yeah! We will not stand by and let our beautiful women out in the world be neglected as we set on our ass and fap away! No! We will get out there and make them feel loved, appreciated, and actually be able to touch and feel what we have an emotional bond to! We will succeed!

    NoFap AngelAce, remember this!

PMO is ruthless, emotionless, invariable, implacable and cannot be negotiated with! Its either you kill it or it will NOT hesitate to OBLITERATE you. You choose. The only advantage you have over PMO is that you're conscious, it's not! You can grow, you can fail thousands of times like Thomas Edison and still win, you can seemingly be its prisoner like Nelson Mandela (for 27years) and still end up as president, you came to this forum and ask for motivation and get it, you can read books & blogs, you can seek spiritual guidance and you- it can not!

"Life is too short" indeed, and as long as you're breathing, you can win because you're conscious. PMO is a dead lifeless enemy that lives within you and will bury you if you don't bury it! How bad do want reach your potential? Is it really worth it to live as a slave? Cmon brother, you're bigger than this, stand up for yourself and become who you know you can be!!! I'm on 8 days and Im going for 90. And after 90 Im gonna find me girl whose aligned with my values and I'll never look back. If youre really serious and want an accounability partner get intouch here: http://www.nofap.org/forum/member.php?33211-Alpinist or my journal here http://www.nofap.org/forum/showthread.php?25644-Journal-of-the-Alpinist-Climing-High-Mountains but regardless, remember one thing, PMO will kill your mind, body and soul without blinking unless you kill it first and the only way to do that is to sacrifice old habits, old thinking patterns, old friends perhaps, old ways, old ideas, old behaviours and fulfill your potential - dont be afraid to grow. This challenge is in all our lives for a reason!

    All the best!

You have to stop looking at the ominous prospect of going 90 days without PMO, and instead live in the moment. Don't look at the past, and do not look too far in the future. You can only control what is happening now, in this moment. Work on yourself right now. The rest will fall into place.
