I just relapsed what do I do ?

    Man I just relapsed honestly I feel like shit for ruining my streak I was on day 11 man I feel like shit like complete shit but I must admit I don’t feel as bad as I thought I would.my question is where do I go from here do I restart from day 1 ?how can I not relapse the second time around please help I feel different already as if I just threw all of the benefits i was feeling out of the window my anxiety is back will my benefits come back please help what do I do

    Id say take responsibility, realise abstinence is only part of this, panicking never solved anything. A mature attitude may help you to look at this clearer.

    It’s hard, I know.We’ve all been there dude.Just see what you can learn from your relapse and then get back on track NOW (don’t fucking binge or do anything stupid) !! C’mon man you can do this, I believe in you !

    Take a cold shower, meditate, learn from it and forget about it. Atleast now you know what your trigger is. Begin fresh tomorrow and avoid the triggers that caused you to relapse today.
     
  6. I was on 27 days and then it all came crashing down in a relapse. I would say you have to forgive yourself and never give up it's more than just will power you have to take precautionary methods not to enhance the urges you get throughout your reboot.

    Mentality is vital in anything you do, trying to force the issue or put pressure on yourself might show you some improvement, but your missing a whole lot more by not looking at mentality.

    Here is my formula to keep a slip from becoming a full relapse.
    1, tell on yourself asap. Which you did.
    2, write out on paper everything that led up to the trigger and what caused it. Then write out how to act differently in the future and what to do instead. If this means install porn blockers on your devices, then do it.
    3. exercise intensly then take a salt bath or jump in the ocean to clear out the negative energy from your body.
    4. Toss yourself into service helping others. Do volenteer work for free or even just pick up trash on the side of the road. Just anything to help to make the world a better place.

    In my experiance after I do all these things, the relapse stops.. If I dont, the relapse continues.

    Very good suggestions, maybe also look into an addiction group.

    Next time Just remember that you felt like shit after the relapse. Trust me its a scam, you are at the same stage after your relapse, urges will gain come after 2-3 hours so why relapse?
