What's the difference between porn and real sex?

You’re looking at it differently than I am. There are different ways to answer this question. Paying prostitutes and filming it!!??? To me that is an alternative universe. I’m sorry this is ridiculous! I mean yes flesh is flesh, a camera is a camera. But these are two different worlds. Most people on this site are not considering that as an option. It’s not really a realistic thing. Most people have used porn or are inclined to use it etc… But it’s an unrealistic entity compared to their lives. They want to escape, watching it, indulging it. There are many negative consequences to doing that, which is what this entire site is about, what this entire site is meant to shed light on: the negative and severely unpleasant consequences of watching porn. Normal life is not like porn life. Sure you can have your girlfriend dress up like a pornstar, but that is real, if she’s your girlfriend. Watching others do it etc is a different thing. If I have to sit here and explain how it’s different, I mean come on. Now to your other point, if one just hires a bunch of prostitutes and films it, how is that different? Well it’s worse! You could go to jail and get std’s and there’s a whole other can of worms that you would open by doing that. Most people don’t want to do that. That is exactly how porn is made, but MOST people don’t do that. Most people struggle with the addiction of watching porn and that entity is very different than reality. Porn does exist in a different universe psychologically. You’re speaking in literal scientific terms, without the psychological component, which makes it kind of superfluous. It’s like saying how is a stalker different than a random person who walks by the same girl’s house? Well they both walk by the same girls’ house, they are in the same physical space, yeah but one happens to be a deranged psychopath and the other is just randomly walking on that street. But their feet both touch the sidewalk in the same place, they both walk by the same location, logistically they are doing the same thing!

I have seen plenty of people on this site who have used prostitutes. It is one possible consequence to the heavy use of porn. If I choose to - which I don't - I could have an orgy this evening. It is not difficult to arrange. You just need money and a phone. That this is something outside your consciousness does not mean it's not there or belongs to an alternate universe. The universe does not revolve around you.

Porn is glamorous to watch, however the positions they do and the acts are not enjoyable at all, there painful. And no women or man loves to suck the other's genitalia, it's tastes like shit while you wanna vomit, yet in the porn they enjoy it.

I have not had sex but I would feel confident in saying that real sex is more conversational and considerate. If you are not enjoying something that you or your partner is doing, you can say and then you can move onto something else. If you are enjoying something, you can say that and continue doing it. In porn, it is the director who chooses what you do. You do not have that same sort of freedom that you have in real sex. Like others have already mentioned, in porn sex there will be times when one person is not enjoying it but is doing it anyway to please the director and get paid. Real sex means a lot more freedom, and it is all up to you and your partner what you do/do not do..

I would also say that, with real sex, it is a lot more comfortable than porn sex. If both you and your partner have a good relationship then you will feel comfortable if you do not perform as well as the other partner wanted or the other way round. You would laugh it off and either not try it again or talk about it and try again. In porn sex, if you do not perform well then you will probably not make much progress in the industry. In real sex, if you are nervous about something you can talk it over with your partner. You have the freedom to experiment, to try out different things and not worry if things go wrong because you can talk it over, the partner will understand, and then you can try it again in the future if you want.

In porn sex, you do it with a stranger. That is probably one of the biggest differences.

True, it is unlikely that you will have the same sort of aggressive, hardcore, intense sex that you see in porn. But having sex with someone you are intimate with, who you have known for a while, someone who mixes with you well, those moments will give you so much more pleasure, enjoyment and fulfilment than you will ever get from fapping to porn. The relationship will be so much more intimate and personal.

Well, I have not had any experience whatsoever in porn sex or real sex. But hopefully this post will convince you that it is more worthwhile to pursue real sex than porn sex.

Real sex requires real effort - socializing, dating, planning, bonding, intimacy, etc - with sex being one of the rewards. Even with a prostitute, there is some level of effort involved.

With porn, its instant gratification that carries a very high risk of abuse (we all have abused it). Because its readily available without the effort, we over do it to the point that it becomes boring; we end up compensating it by more novelty porn, more aggressive, more hard core, fetishes, and porn that is naturally unrealistic (gangbangs, rape scenes, zoofilia, bukkakes, incest, horny school girls, sultry secretaries, cheating housewives, nympho milfs, etc..I should stop here before somebody relapses). << These kind of things are rare in real life, therefore unrealistic.

First time I had sex (with my mind previously poisoned by years of porn), i tried to slide a finger up her butt and she freaked out. The small things you see in porn that you think are normal are actually simply not there in real life.

How many people do you know that have participated in a gangbang? How many do you know who regularly have anal sex? 90% of the women I dated hated it while 10% "pretended" to like it. How many women do you know who like to take cum shots on the face? Every woman I dated found it demeaning. <<These things exist in real life but they are a tiny statistical outlier in the population, whereas in porn, they are the norm.

 

You also need real libido and the realization you will be poking real flesh of another person who can also act and react to your actions, and not plowing the death grip of your hand. There is a stark difference in doing the act versus watching it on a screen. You dont really think they film the entire 30 minute scene in just 30 minutes, do you? When you realize this, you will realize that the orgy you arrange will be nothing like what you see on your computer screen.
