You have to describe more about your situation. I checked your other posts but you don't specify much about your story.

In any case, if you fapped like crazy like for many years most of us on here did, your fetish is most likely just a byproduct of it.

Don't worry about it, just make your addiction go away, and start building a life where women your age are part of it. Your fetish should go. In any case if you've been "imprinted" very hard, very young, you may always have that fetish and it's not particularly a bad thing (the way I see it). But I don't want to impose scientific knowledge on your situation. Only you know where you come from and where you want to go.

So by all means go for the change!

 

I would say that a fetish or a kink (e.g. milf or mother/son incest) that comes early and pre-dates porn is unlikely to go. Whereas something that is porn-related should fade or disappear when you are completely abstinent from it for many months - i.e. by the time you have had a complete reboot to 'factory settings'.

I also really struggled with similar stuff. I started looking at it when I was 14, so I suspect that it will never fully go away. But I'm hoping that with a reboot I can change the associations in my brain, so that slowly I find it less and less appealing. I'm gay, so for me it was dilf stuff. I still feel depressed about it sometimes.

 

IGY is right, there are some fetishes that pre-date porn (likely to stay in some weaker form) and others that don (likely to disappear). Then it is important to distinguish "unreasonable" and "reasonable" fetishes, i.e. those that would destroy good human relationships if carried out and those that would not. The destructive ones such as rape, incest, etc. should be always resisted.
