Am I the only one who gets less energy on NoFap, not more?

I read about people having loads of energy, while I'm the opposite. I guess it's just a withdrawal symptom, and my brain is crying out for it's dopamine hit from porn?

If anyone else struggles with energy and fatigue, can you let me know your experiences and how you deal with it?

    Thanks.

Yeah, its normal! Your brain need its dopamine, and if you dont give it, you are gonna feel withdrawal symptoms, like fatique, no energy, no motivation, depression, brainfog, anxiety, etc. That can be a long phasis, depends on your addiction level. I was a huge addict, 9 years PMO, in which last 4 years hard addiction to PMO, and Im now 377 days and I can still feel all of these, because its PAWS (post acute withdrawal symptoms). There is a progress in my reboot, my PIED gone, but there are ups and downs in my life, plus I live a really stressful life. But it will be gone, look back how severe is your addiction, and you can approximately calculate what time you need to fully heal your brain. If you stuck in your feelings, like these withdrawal symptoms, you wont be successful. You have to accept this!

  3. Man I feel you, I’m mentally, physically and emotionally drained and it sucks because I never feel I can catch my breathe and life keeps at me. It’s debilitating and it’s saddenning. You gotta stick it out.

Just as the person above said and also, your body is recovering so it’s gonna take energy to recover. Take it easy when you need to but you also need to exercise and get out and talk to people a little, try not to be a recluse, but I understand, I’m currently a hermit and I can’t do anything with people. Talking to people bores me and I’m uninterested, which makes my responses bland which makes me anxious but you gotta try to get a little better everyday. Keep going brother.

Listen to me. Almost everybody lies. I am in 87 day no pmo and dont feel any diference before after.. I repeat to everyone. You cant rebuild a house for 100 days if the house have been build for 10 years. I trying to say that we need a long time period. 50-90 days is just a begining. Of course depends how many years you did PMO.

It very funny when I reading how someone on his 30th day has benefits : wow great skin , deep voice , eneegy , brave ... Bla bla

    Every good thing takes time
Wait for it. Wait 6-8 monts to a year. :) dont give up.

We are better than before. Never back down.

First try I did was 60 days streak. Went easy but i got over confident.
Can guarantee 2 things, pmo then made me more addicted than ever AND the 60 days I went through, it bought so many great things.
Confidence, strength and the while better looking and feeling thing.
The key is to convert your need of where you get that dopamine from. In my case, it was working out. Any pmo urges, I shit you not, I used to squat 100 immediately. I started with 5 being impossible for me in the beginning. So yeah..perhaps a placebo affect but helped regardless.

Thank you for your reply. What do you mean "If you stuck in your feelings, like these withdrawal symptoms, you wont be successful. You have to accept this!" Do you mean I need to accept being tired is a normal withdrawal symptom, and I need to carry trying my best to live my life, instead of dwelling on being tired?

At last I've found someone who is experiencing what I'm going through! I just wanted to know I'm not suffering alone. It's really difficult to stick it out, especially when I have important things to do, but I'm too tired to do them! I've dug myself this massive PMO hole, and there is only way to get out. I guess there is no point digging my hole deeper i.e. relapsing all the time!

If you succeed and get past being so drained, please let me know. Or if find anything which helps also let me know. Thanks!

I was addicted to PMO for nearly 20 years, so you are right. I've built a house up which has a lot of problems, and it took me a long time. It's going to take time to knock down the hold house, and rebuild one which is a lot more solid.

Your post is slightly depressing, as waiting 6-12 months to feel better, is a long time. However it's also inspiring and realistic at the same time. The truth hurts, but it's for the best. Thanks.

Well done on doing 60 days, I know it's not easy! I do workout, but maybe I need to change what exercises I do. Thanks for your reply, it's given me something to think about.

Thanks, it makes me feel better to know what I'm going through is normal. I've read that other people get very energised on NoFap, but everyone is different. Just because some people get more energy, doesn't mean that happens to everyone. Maybe the people with a lack of energy aren't posting as they are too tired haha!

  9. You feel like you’ve read post about how bad people have it but you feel they are never as bad as you. I’m sorry to hear your situation because it’s tough and it’s hard to live, this isn’t living, but I’m sure you’re not the only one. So many attest to P being the problem of their mental symptoms, I’m sure there may be a link and not a coincidence
