Interesting thread. Mine comes from a mix of my own name and the European sea. I just changed the last letter to "K" to add a Greek element. I have a thing for world mythologies, and I just found some way to play around with my name.

My user name is an name I made up for an character I made in an MMORPG back in late 2005. The name represented my character who was an older gentleman with gray hair in an pony tail. He represented wisdom, justice, and defender of the people. Sounds corny I know but he grew on me and I stuck with him since. In an way he projected how I felt about things. It is an personal name I hold close to heart. It has been associated with people I met that has moved on and even passed. The name is just really personal to me.

Well my current name came from NamelessDude. Then I reached 'hero" rank on a site and a mod decided to change it to NamelessHero and it kinda stuck. And then people started a rumor on that site that my real name was John (it's not) so then I became NamelessJohn. No special meaning, I just kinda chose it for no reason.
