So guys, I've relapsed on my 79th day no PMO. All it took was 1 urge, 1 urge in 79 days and my brain hit the self destruct button. Why is this so damn difficult to stop? I thought for sure this time would be THE time, I even moved out of my old place, got a freelancing job, got a new diet, am exercising regularly, etc..

But apparently, nothing, it's the exact same old bs.

Which makes me wonder, if you take out the P (I'm no longer addicted to P or fantasizing, just MO) aren't you at some point going to be able to beat the addiction by default? If we marry/grow older, won't we "stabilize" as far as hormones go or something like that?

But does the addiction ever cease to exist? If we replace it with a sex life, I'd say the addiction is still there; it's just a "healthier" one.

Doesn't this mean that anyone can technically beat the addiction as long as the P is taken out?

I appreciate the philosophy brother but I don't look at P. I haven't looked at P in ages and I'm not addicted to P.

I'm talking about the seemingly natural urges to release sexual energy. Will these fade over time regardless of our need to engage in sexual activity/be replaced with a regular sex life at some point?

I see a lot of success stories, but it's not like a lot of these individuals are in control of their addiction if they can engage in sex whenever they wish.
