On day 6 here and man do I feel foggy. I have zero motivation. I slept 8 hours but I feel like I could sleep 8 more. I feel depressed in mood and motivation.

What are some practical things that have helped you overcome this stage of rebooting?

I've been on day six like tens of times and I know real well how life looks on day six. If only you have possibility try to get outside as often as you can, try not to have anything unnecessary with you what can disturb your peace. I mean don't take your smartphone with you or any electronic devices as PC. Just try to walk and try thinking and co concentrating. I found it very energizing to be able to think about one thing and really think it through. What give an extra kick is writing. It helps me a lot, when I take a piece of paper and something to write with and I try to write something to myself. It's like wetting letter to yourself or like a conversation between you and you. It may sound stupid but it helps me a lot.

Cheers, stay strong, fight that shit!

Your serotonine and dopamine levels dropped, because you're not getting them with PMO anymore. That's why you are depressed.

    1. Exercise in 75 - 90 % maximum heart rate zone for at least 30 minutes daily (40 if you count 5+5 min warmup and cool down). Best if done right after breakfast. Running and cycling comes to my mind, but hiking, swimming, basketball, soccer, tennis, will do as well. Basically any aerobic activity in mentioned HR zone. This way you'll get your daily dose of serotonine and dopamine so you won't feel so shitty trough out the day. I had to do it for 4 months on daily basis when in hard mode reboot. I was literally like living zombie, wanted to end it all, if I didn't.

    2. Take Omega 3 (EPA 1000-2000 mg, HDA 500-1000 mg daily). Easiest way to get it is one large spoon of fish oil (15 ml). Take it with milk, you'll puke otherwise :)

    3. Get at least one hour of sun light daily when possible. Even cloudy daylight is a lot better than being inside.

Remember it's only unbalanced brain chemistry, not you. Don't get caught in negative thinking. Your mind is playing tricks on you. Give it a few months and everything will go to normal.

Great advice! I recently started taking fishoil as well. Can’t say I’ve had much improvements overall so far but it’s been 2 months only. Ive heard fish oil is so good for your brain among the many other benefits. I started taking it in liquid gel form. It’s from a company called Naturelo and you can find them on amazon. I also take their multi vitamin and their tumeric pills. Also the sunlight suggestion is very important!

I found that working on a new project or simply going outside more often helps. Just means you are thinking less about how tired you are and also about the porn or pmo, time to forget about it and get something else done for a while.
