How long have you been addicted to PMO?

Its been 15yrs of struggle for me.
I started at age 11. Used to MO 1-5 times a day.
In my early 20s i started trying to limit myself to 0-3 a week.
The most i've gone without PMO was 28 days (10 yrs & 4 months ago).
Hoping to beat that score someday..

I'm 25 years old, I first saw pornography when I was about 13 or 14 years old. I started using it habitually when I was 15, and I didn't have a successful reboot until after my 25th birthday (five months clean now!). So, I've been an addict for roughly ten years.

I consider the extent of my porn usage to be habitual. I watched porn almost every day, taking 1-2 day breaks maybe once a week. So, that makes roughly five porn-viewing sessions per week, and some of those sessions were binge-sessions that lasted all night, masturbating several times in a single session. I would usually have a binge session after trying to quit for more than a week or so.

 

I'm 18 right now. I've been addicted since around 13, so about 5/6 years. At my worst I've been at 2-3 times per day, with my best streak of pmo free being 2 weeks. Recently I went up from 1 time a day to around 1.5 times a day. However since I've come back to really committing to quit, I've gone down to once a day. Today will be my first day free in a while.

PMO must have been 13 or 14. I'm 19 now but started to fully commit to NoFap at 18. So anywhere between 5 to 6 years. My gateway into P was far longer than that and possibly started at age 10 from what I can recall, but It's really foggy. All together, it could span 8 years if not shorter or longer.

Frequency varied anywhere from once a day to maybe 8 times a day down the line with last year and the start of this year being the most frequent. NoFap reduced it to 2, then 1 and now nothing

 

49 years old, struggling with this shit for 35 years. It will be on my headstone: "Great guy, great family, mostly spent his life fighting porn and did a little bit of other stuff".

I rue the day my friend gave me that first stack of Playboys to take home (Suzanne Somers!)

Id say habitual user for 20 years. At least once a day. But I believe the actual addiction took off properly around 10 years ago.

 

I'm 27 right now and started at the age of 12.. I stopped when I was 24 meaning that it lasted for 12 years. I can still have temptations, but like they say "Never let your guard down", even after years without it.

Hmm,probably at my age 12,I started pmo ,became addicted at 14.some days before in my holidays I do pmo nearly 10 times a day.now age 19 and realised my situation.guys no matter what we do achieve the goal that we started to move on.just need some mindful thinking if you relapse it goes to got no better,just remains it.

 

Started with mags at about age 8. By 16 I had amassed a secret collection. Age 24 the internet hit. Started really wasting time waiting for gifs to download. It was really slow back then. The high speed came to town a few years later and I thought I was in heaven. Finally got the ability to broadcast to a flat screen like 10 years ago. Then things really got bad. So all in all at least 24 years with internet porn and 40 years since my first introduction. At least with mags you had to plan and it wasn't in everyone's face like today. I personally think it should be highly restricted and harder to view. Too much free stuff online.

hit my rook bottom after failing do get something important done for 3 days instead edged for 4h then O then 2h sleep for 3day in row on a cocktail of P on 4 screens and enhancements and toys … I am so messed up! And the worsed is I know the whole time how damn messed up, but still it can happen again no matter how discussed one part of my brain is about it the other will be able to perform these acts for ever. The good part needs to win and take control !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

This is why I only have a laptop that is work issued these and it never comes out at home unless I get some sort of emergency email on my phone.

 

I started when I was around 13.I would say that I am addicted to more MILF porn with acctresses liks Julia Ann and Vanilla Deville. That has always been my go to category. It has been a few years and I feel like I'm starting to feel affects. Starting to feel more anxious and I am worried that I won't be able to perform as well for my partner because of this porn addiction...

 

Wow.. This thread inspired me a lot. Some of you who did pmo for 20 years and more and now getting good streaks! I am addicted for 15 years and half and usually 2-3 times and rerely 4 times. 5 and 6 times happened only three times in my life where I noticed a real death lol... Those days were terrifying. I was able to stop it for 3 times for 30 days streak each. But it was under a massive psychological(emotional) stress. So it was not a healthy way in my opinion. Since 2017..i am getting into the worst pmo days.. I couldn't across 8 days streak. But if many did it here then I should do it! I swear I will keep battling into nofap until i am pmo free. Never giving up!

Reading how people get to 90 and 180 days and then they go back? That makes me sad and fearful at my prospects. It started with phone sex around 1988. Hustler magazine’s and VHS cassettes in the 90s. 2 divorces on 3rd marriage and it’s the last one. So in the 2000’s it turned to internet hardcore porn the harder the better. And I push myself away from this wife also but this time she’s an alcoholic.
I wake up last week and have an epiphany that I’ve been sleepwalking for the last 10 years of my marriage addicted to PMO once a day two times a day when it’s really bad. It’s been going on for a long time it’s been going on for a long time. I want my wife back I must forge a head it’s only day 4

 

But my edging has been getting up to an hour I need to be strong so I can pick my wife up when she crashes
