So I keep Relapsing .
I feel I need a significant amount of numbers before I start giving value to them. Which is wrong , but I can't get over it.
This is just my addiction trying to get every bit of dopamine it can get.
Going Hard Mode is difficult , I need strength .

I think every one of us here fail constantly at the start. Take lesson from every relapse. Note the triggers. Give your best every time to resist urge. At last you will succeed. Once a week or two is passed it will become relatively easy. Set small goals, go day by day. It will help.

 

Day 49- Woken up late this Saturday morning at 8. Anyway, time to schedule my day as usual and not allow any space for PMO.

Thanks, Its strange because i have now built so much momentum around abstinence that i can go weeks and into months without a singe sexual thought. I've really adapted to transitioning all that limitless sexual energy into other areas, more productive areas. And this is excellent, but from time to time from nowhere comes a sexual urge and urge to O, its manageable and i think that even these will disappear as the momentum builds even more.

Its all about momentum - get momentum on your side. I think of it like a roundabout in a children's playground. When that roundabout spins fast it is impossible to get on, the roundabout repels any attempt to access it - this is momentum and its powerful!..

 

Daily check in boys. Tomorrow is the Lord's Day so why not be extremely more cautious today. Think about the Church, the Body of Christ, people you know. All our darkest secrets will be revealed on J day. But also our good deeds like mortifying the flesh. So let us hold on to the grace of God and his provisions for us to fight the flesh with the weapons of the Spirit ! In Jesus Christ Amen

 

I understand where you are coming from. But I think blaming it on women ain't gonna do any good. Look at the story of Adam and Eve. If it was not for sin their nakedness would not have been revealed.
Our problem as men is our own hearts which are "deceitful above all things" as Jeremiah put it.

Women cannot be blamed for their clothes, make up , etc... anything.

Now about Christian women, in many ways they should be made aware of men's difficulties with visuals which are much more stimulating for us. That's the job of the pastor, and if he does not ever say anything on that maybe you should encourage him to or have a discussion with him.

The Bible calls christian women to dress modestly.

We can see how american christian women have failed in that respect. I am always astonished at the difference between them and christian women in other countries. so much more make up and provocative clothing.

Do they know not the bible warnings to not have a brother stumble because of you ?

We should be careful.

To sump up.
You cannot blame women. only your sinful nature.
But praise God he has given us his grace and his spirit to help us
Make every effort to turn away from your sins, that starts with turning your eyes off women. looking at the ground. at least for a good season until we are stronger. I know I do it. For as soon as I see flesh I am turned on. And I feel bad. for something I cannot even control. So I believe with time the lusts will not be so strong. but for now I must be diligent.
