Don't worry man, but don't repeat it.

Just use logic. Watching porn for 30 seconds without fapping to test yourself once every 30 days is OK. Watching half an hour and edging is not very good because it slows down the reboot.

In any case if my take on this helps you, I won't even test. I believe once you're cured, you'll clearly start perceiving things differently, getting erections more easily, etc. Then you can test if you want, although it won't even be that necessary.

Looking at porn for either 30 minute or 2 sec's is the same thing man , it's rewiring your desire to that path again , if you look at it today tomorow you'll watch more.. and more , it's not very advisable to take a look at any Porn material .

Don't do that again or you'll end up relapsing no matter how strong you think your willpower is.. good luck.

Glancing at or accidentally viewing porn is a much better gauge of your reaction than repeating old browsing/viewing patterns e.g.; go to porn site, click video, watch video, close video etc... Good luck!

One of my biggest concern when it comes to watching porn is the automatic support and creation of demand for something that exploits women and men. There is no "clean" porn.

Best advice is to cut out all that you can and that also means looking at girls in public. Just stay AND think clean...!

Very good observation. For all the porn I used in the past, I would always look into who owned the companies, who were the major companies that owned all the smaller companies. Even if you come across a site that looks 'ethical' and 'classy', if you can even refer to porn as either of those lol (prostitution on camera as I like to call it), it is most likely owned by a major producing company that is anything but ethical.

With the nature of this addiction, even if you find yourself setting boundaries on the consumption of something that is completely unethical, usually your self-control deteriorates the more you use it and before you know it you are watching stuff that you would never think of in your right mind.

The beast needs to be fed, and it gets tired of what appears to be "clean" porn fast.

But then there is no such thing as "clean" porn. It's all a lie.

I've tried "testing" myself too. After a few days of no porn I'll try to see how strong my willpower is and nearly every time it's not strong enough. While I might not masturbate right there and then, the images I just saw will stick in my head until I feel I have to and then in no time I'm back in the same PMO cycle I was on.

The PMO monster is sneaky, he'll disguise himself as the voice of reason, or a calm, clinical and seemingly detached voice who is urging you to "test" your resolve. But you are not testing yourself, you're trying to rationalize viewing porn again, even if only for seconds at a time.

I'm not trying to get religious on anyone but it's been said that the Devil presents himself as that same calming voice, a friend who gently urges you to do the things that make you feel good and happy even when he knows they're self-destructive. That's the point of temptation, to make bad things look as appealing as possible so that you don't think they're really "bad" at all. Or make what you're doing look more empirical in nature, convincing you that you're "not really" looking at porn, you're just doing a study or a test. For what? for science? Bullshit.

The PMO monster wants his dopamine fix and he'll say anything to convince you to feed him. He'll pull any trick he can to turn you back into his personal dopamine factory, the trick is trying to determine when it's him speaking and when it's really YOUR own will speaking. Eventually your inner voice will drown out his. Stay strong, stay vigilant.
