    Hello everyone,

I have joined this forum to stop my addiction to porn! I usually am able to go 1 week without porn but then I relapse once I get stressed! But I want to use these guides to help me become a better man and a better husband one day :)

If you guys have any tips on how I could achieve longer amounts of nofap just post below!!! :D

I'll tell you how. My method must be too extreme for guys on here that are truly addicted to porn though because I have suggested this before here. I get views and then the thread sinks to the bottom of the forum. Most guys here probably look at this method and think that they could never do that because they are too addicted to porn to even think about trying it. But if you are really serious about it then give this a shot.

Go to the K9 website at www1.k9webprotection.com and download and install the program. Then block all porn on your home pc.

Then go to passwordsgenerator.net and get a good strong password to use with K9. Write it down or copy it to a word file then TAKE IT TO WORK. Put the password at your work desk or pc, just some place where you work.

Now, it would have to be completely premeditated to bring that password home from work to disable the K9 protection on your home pc. This has been working for me. As long as the password is not something I could remember and as long as it's at my work, all porn stays blocked on my home pc.

Hey, I am new too, and am going through the same thing, I have some techniques that will only help with an accountability partner. If you want to go through this with someone i need an accountability partner as well.

Welcome to the Nofap community. Glad you made it here.

I would caution you on using external solutions as your only approach to fixing the problem. This idea is used often but has a small success rate. The problem with an external solution (porn blockers, threats from a gf, change of environment, frothy emotional appeal your brain uses to convince you that if you make yourself feel bad enough, it will prevent another fall), they address the problem as if it is external. I am not saying these things cant be helpful, but these plans ALONE will surely fail. For example, if I broke a rib and I tried really hard not to use or hit that piece of the body... this solution will not mend the break that is causing the pain, it will only temporarily minimize but as time passes, it will only be a matter of time before the 'external solution' stops working.

Pain and desperation is usually the magic that causes a change. 'self pity, hope, or good luck' is no plan.
