Yeah I was with some buddies some days ago, and dropped one. They thought the sewer was broken. I didn't say anything, lol!
But at least now, after 1½ weeks of probiotics and serotonin supplements, dietary fiber and L. acidophilus enriched yogurt now they are much less common and i'm not as full of gas and stomach churning as before. And this is only 1½ weeks. I'm expecting more positive end results after 8 weeks.

  3. Withdrawal can cause significant changes in body chemistry. If stress systems are activated (as in paws) your body will naturally slow digestion and mess with enzymes. A lot of your symptoms scream food intolerance. Foods you didn't have any problems with before hitting withdrawal could be doing you harm.

It can be a vicious cycle. Some will go as far as saying that it's the anxiety that is making you feel certain things (as in imagining them) while you could be suffering from withdrawal induced food sensitivity.

Main offenders: fructose, gluten, dairy, cafein, processed sugar.

Did your blood work indicate high liver enzymes? Have loose stools? If so look into paleo or ketogenic diet, but without the fruit. Try that a couple of weeks and see what it does.

I am quite certain your symptoms are not related to nofap. Most probably stress or another imbalance

  5. For @saneagain i would say what likely happened is way overstimulation and physical exhaustion and dopamine desensitisation, triggering a kind of burnout physically. Then withdrawals kicked in and insomnia and tension, evidenced by the frequency of wetdreams he experienced.

Recovery from burnout and especially when also going through PMO withdrawal can take a LONG time, people can take years to recover to full health from a bad case of burnout due to the depletion of neurochemicals such as serotonin and due to rewiring of the brain.

One warning sign of burnout is feeling "wired but tired" in the evening.

I would love to hear how you're doing btw saneagain, any changes?

  6. I have to agree with this, this is exactly how I feel.

After more than than 1.5 years I still feel bad. I have more physical energy but mentally it's still shit. Just today I had a sex dream combined with a wet dream again. Some symptoms like for example the tingling all over my body and the feeling of burning skin become less for some time after a wet dream. The longer I am without an orgasm the stronger these two symptoms become again until I have another wet dream.

I do get more sleep. The night after I masturbate I often sleep without waking up at all. The longer I abstain the harder it gets to fall asleep and also not to wake up. So the insomnia is 100% related to wet dreams or ejaculation/orgasm in general.

Most of the symptoms are still present.

The most noticable change/ improvement are the fading palpitations. They were so bad in the beginning I couldn't even work out for a few minutes.

My blood work was fine. Rarely loose stools but a lot of bloating. I eliminated caffeine almost completely (only on rare occasions).

Bro .. i have same problem as you .. i read your other thread .. i did PMO as early as you and as often as you .. i'm 31 right now .. had this anxiety, panic attacks and gastritis exactly one year ago .. and any other symptoms just like you are .. dizziness, short of breath, insomnia, cold hand and feet .. even for the first 3 month i had this .. i was scared to go outside my house .. just before the attack i was so fit .. i do jogging like 8 km in the morning .. 200 kg squat, weightlifting and any other sport ..

i did manage big progress by doing intermitent fasting .. cut sugar .. eat clean ..

oyaa .. blood cupping is good to release toxin and stress ..

    hope it helps ..

  10. Hey, as to those palpitations, do you believe that your body may be a little tense. Notice your body now and try to see if you can get it even more relaxed and see if that relieves some stress on your chest and take deep breathes.

These symptoms sound familiar and from my experience are due to chronic stress. I also went to doctors and had tests but nothing was wrong and the answer was always the same.
If you suspect a medical condition, then go check yourself.
If nothing is wrong with you, is probably that!
Your mind is racing and will keep forcing you to find a solution.
Many times you will find yourself searching for hours online and finding results like "adrenal fatigue", "leaky gut", "intestinal parasites" and many "medical terms" that are actually false.
Again, If you do suspect something is wrong with your symptoms go and visit a doctors.
It's very hard to admit and acknowledge that indeed so many symptoms come from chronic stress.
Luckily you can find books that address to that issue and I recommend that you check them out:
    1. At last a life by Paul David
    2. Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers by Robert Sapolsky
Don't get fooled by the marketing tricks that many people out there use to exploit on chronically stressed people.
In no way conventional doctors are 100% innocent, but the pseudo-medical are no better.
Trust me, I spend years and thousands(maybe) of money for this. Don't go through that cycle.

Stress may play a role. But I eliminated all stress from my life for 1.5 Years now. I work 2 hours a day. I still get constant sex and wet dreams. Also the symptoms are influenced by orgasm/abstinence. For me it all points to chronic pmo...

How are you doing @saneagain ?
I have seen reports of some people with recovery over 2 years.

I also do think that you need to open your mind and start changing your life step by step.

You are suffering clinical depression, which can still happen to NoFappers, and you need to see a psychiatrist about it. Not a GP, a PSYCHIATRIST. Sounds like you had this going on and have been ignoring it long before you were NoFap. You will never get the benefits of NoFap unless you get the depression addressed. And skip the health food remedies and all the unproven quackery. Read up on all that acupuncture and other BS on wikipedia and you'll see that in double blind studies, none of it works, this requires real medical help and is nothing to be fucked around with or ignored; Depression has a 17% fatality rate. From the sound of it, you already sound pretty high-risk. Go see a doc. SOON.

All symptoms worsen if I masturbate. Fatigue, depression, pain.
I stop dreaming if I masturbate.
The night after busting a nut I don't wake up and have no insomnia.

There is absolutely not one single topic in my life I could talk with a psychiatrist about. And I wont take some bullshit drugs which fuck up my brain even more. My neurologist prescribed Seroquel in low dosage. I took it and it had zero effects. Dosage was probably too low.
I have definitely more physical energy than a year ago but I still feel like I am under water. Pressure on ears, dizziness, tight throat, blurry vision, different sort of pains like joint pain and muscle pain but also nerve pain. Fatigue is still present but has improved.

My joints are cracking extremely and I hear clicking/crunching noises from the inside of my head. My nose is dry is running every other day. And my memory is still shit.

I talked with several doctors (my neurologist too) and a lot of things dont match the typical depression. Like my inability to tolerate excercise. If you are "just" depressed excercise does help. In my case it worsens everything at least temporarly. I get pressure in head and chest, start to shake etc. This has improved compared to how it was months ago. This rather fits with the description of PAWS. Look up withdrawal forums for benzos or alcohol. Lots of people are reporting about inability to tolerate excercise or sun. This was extreme with me too. I could not sit 10 minutes in the sun in summer, because I felt like I was burning. Just another symptoms people talk about on drug forums.

  17. Sorry to hear you're still suffering these symptoms, apart from the joint cracking my world is pretty much the same, make sure you take it easy everyday, even taking the time to have a long nap if you want

  18. Truth is we’ve done a lot of damage to our brains. On my old forum there was a dude who was 2.5 years in and still noticing benefits and didn’t feel functional till at least 14 months, severe case. I wouldn’t be surprised if this extends beyond two years to fully recover in some of us. Some benzo addicts take YEARS to recover.

This is a scary thread! I don't have even two full months P-free. I feel pretty well but still have weird things going on in my body and mind. Another year of this-- probably more -- is what I've got to look forward to?

Already so many guys given awesome responses. So I don't say more.
I had been watching porn (Sometime excessive) for more than 10 years. I have never came across above mentioned symptoms. I'm just surprised how these many symptoms, what kind of porns/acts made you like that. severely Indulging in filthy environment for years and expecting cure in months or a year (with out properly working on us) is not make sense. Don't loose hope my dear. If you believe on God then leave everything on God and try your best dude. Busy yourself and indulge in motivational activities, make sure it give you peace and healthy.
