A Little While Ago i was tired and wanted to take a semi-nap but i took my iPad to the room. just before i went to lay down i got on my iPad and check twitter. And i looked up a pornstars twitter. I clicked on it and immeidelty saw porn, porn everywhere i stayed on the page for no more then 10 seconds. Did i relpase because i intentionally looked up a pornstar? Not sure what to do.

  2. You didn't do anything else and you closed it. Not a relapse but I wouldn't do that again. It can lead you right back into doing what you were doing before. Then you are at relapse.
    Don't give it a foothold.

I Feel Guilty After i closed the page because i got a boner from it and i didn't know what to do. I Was thinking that i relapsed and was ready to go on a full binge just because i thought i relapsed I'm glad i came here to talk about before i made a huge mistake.

  5. You wanted to take a nap but you checked a porn star's twitter account and it was, unsurprisingly, full of porn.

You gotta act smarter than this if you are going to get anywhere mate. Personally, this would be a reset for me. But you are hoping that the 10 seconds will save you from that. If that's your decision, fair enough. But please look at your choices here. Yes, your choices. (1) You took your iPod to your bedroom; (2) You checked twitter; (3) You specifically opened an account of a porn star; (4) you stayed there for as long as maybe 10 seconds! Yes, it was entirely intentional @Ruses.
This is textbook addiction rationalisation. There is no logic to this thought process. Therefore, it is not your prefrontal cortex that is driving this line of thought. It was hijacked by your amygdala - the emotion centre of the brain, which includes the reward circuitry we have damaged through our addiction. I mention this^ in the hope that you can identify where such thoughts are coming from in future. "Might as well have a binge if I have relapsed already" is a porn-addled wish fulfilment. If you continue your streak, I suggest that any future incidents like this are treated as a reset. It was good you came here.
