    Hey.

So last morning I had my 2nd wet dream on NoFap. And I'm not entirely sure if this 2nd one was actually a wet dream so here's the story:

I woke up at 8:30 a.m. and I wanted to stay in bed for a few more minutes. I started fantasizing but was only doing it for about 3 minutes and was kind of subconsciously rubbing my thing on the bed (NOT with my hand). I wasn't even close to cumming. And then I fell asleep for like 10 minutes and during those 10 minutes I had a dream, a sexual dream. And what's weird is that when I have an erotic dream it's usually about a porn scene from the days when I was actively watching porn. But this was different, there was a girl there but before she could get naked I woke up and felt my penis was getting ready to cum. I tried to stop it but no success. I ended up ejaculating. As I write this I'm on Day 18. I had a wet dream on Day 8 and it was quite similiar. It's not exactly the feeling you get when you relapse due to fapping. At least for me it's not.

So my question is what do you guys think about this? Wet Dream or Relapse? During these 18 days I've expierenced the energy benefits, mood benefits and all the other benefits related to the current Day of NoFap and I don't feel like I've lost any of them. In fact, sometimes I feel they've intensified and I feel great. It's not like after a relapse when you fell like shit after the first hour or so.

So what do you think? Maybe share your expierences with wet dreams?

  2. I don’t know man. It depends on your goals. Is your goal to give up P, M, PM, or PMO?

If you’re a young guy between ages 15-30ish you probably won’t be able to stop having wet dreams and similar experiences. It’s physiological. Your best bet is to make a goal such as: I will not use P or M and if I have a wet dream this is not a relapse. My only orgasm will be from actual sex...

You get what I’m saying? You can’t expect yourself not to have wet dreams if you are a young guy in your prime with no partner.

Well I consider ejaculating after fapping a relapse and I'm not trying to stop wet dreams, I know they are natural. If I considered wet dreams a relapse I wouldn't be on Day 18. And yeah basically I only want an orgasm to be from real sex. If I don't have a female partner than I won't have that sexual release, if I'll have a girl than I will have a release if it's possible (and desired :D ) Thanks for the reply.

Had exactly the same dream as you, but it started naturally (didn't fantasize or such),might say not a relapse, because the body did it, not you, because if you didn't sleep, that wouldn't happen, but its different if you already had a will to pmo before sleeping tho.

If you say everything was unconsciously, then for me there's no problem at all.
You may have had a release, but what really matters here is wheter you wanted and caused it or no. The latter is just an accident like they may be other.

Here's another advice only if you're single or don't socialize too often, and that's to try and get a partner. That way you can have a another way to redirect your urges or your wet dreams, and I'm not only talking about sex! Just hanging up with they or friends will be an awesome way to spend both your time and your energies.

I have done zero touching beyond bathroom and shower. And I haven’t had any wet dreams, yet.

I’m not positive, and would love to hear others opinions, but it seems that increased arousal and wet dreams for many in here are related to forms of edging. Whether that is literally touching yourself in a sexual manner and creating elections, or mentally fantasizing, or purposely watching image or video content for the purpose of arousal (I’ve often heard IG or YouTube content as the culprits).I stay away from all edging as well.

Also, there might be a biological component depending on age. We learned about wet dreams in sex Ed class as a kid, so possibly puberty plays a role in this for some on here.

    How old are you?

    Thoughts?

I'm 18. And I admit I edged a couple of times on this streak but I always slapped myself (not literally) and said enough. And I pulled through.
