I'm a guy in my last 20's and I've never had sex, nor do I think I will get the opportunity.

I feel my virginity killed all my confidence. To never have a girl give herself to you. To be laughed at by friends and even a family member.
It feels like sex is the one thing that turns a boy to a man, and I have not made that "test" yet.

I can't do anything about it, because now I am anxious to tell a girl about it. What if it turns her off What if she thinks I'm a loser?

And it feels like everyone is having sex. In TV, in radio, in friends company, among classmates, at work. They make it sound so easy to get, and still I can't.

Is it truly shameful to be a virgin in this day and age?

What is so special about the thing which everyone us experiencing. It's mediocre. On the other hand what you are doing is something different..

Would you be the person who likes to flaunt about how many girls you slept with or to flaunt about that one person whom you love with all your heart amd soul and with whom you want to spend the rest of your life. Temporary pleasures or lifetime of happiness.
Everyone has there own timeline. Get comfortable with yours and stop comparing yourself with others because even if you get laid now you will later on think about other things which people have access to but you dont.

COMPARISON IS THE THIEF OF HAPPINESS.

    Stop comparing start living.
    Have a good day! :)

  3. Not with that attitude. What have you done so far to change your situation?

  4. Any girl that will attach value to your sexual performance in general and especially over your personal value is just shallow and narrow-minded, although I'm not denying that there are a lot of women with that mentality out there. So no, it is in no way, shape or form shameful not to have fucked random women which is just as good as using your own hand while watching porn. If you want to experience meaningful sex through intimacy, find a girl that likes you for who you are, and make losing your virginity something special that way.

  5. Fuck those people and fuck societys influence thinking to be a man you should have sex. Like what @Grow_out_of_it said, comparision is the theif of happiness. Just be comfortable in your own skin. I am 20 and a virgin but it's cool I'm not full with sex in my mind like everyone else.

I have to say it is good to hear that my chances aren't out. I've always felt that the older you are as a virgin, the more shameful it gets. I have not done much to find a girl, because I am simply too scared, but your replies are giving me some hope. I still got a long way to go though.

Your post is truly depressing to me, not because you're a virgin (celibacy is a pretty legendary thing in my opinion), but because of the way you think about being virgin.

Given your situation and mentality, I see only two options for you (warning: I may be lacking in vision!):

    1) Purposefully let go of sex altogether for a year or two. Temporarily devote yourself to celibacy, and perhaps, in the act of letting go and refusing to "try", you will actually realise your natural self (and how cool you are when you're not mentally bitching about whether you're enough in any particular way), which will inevitably attract a nice girl somewhere down the line.

    2) Start taking responsibility for your confidence issues. Everything you write clearly indicates that you see yourself as a helpless victim. Stop whining, make some money and pay a confidence coach/pickup instructor to take you on a night out. Simple :)

Sorry for my harshness. I speak only to serve you!

    Good luck.

i know it's unpopular on this forum, but call an escort and get rid of your virginity.

Other users will tell you to wait for the right one, but this users are also probably 30 yo and virgin (guess why loll) so please don't listen to them.

I mean, if you was 19 or 20 this would be no problem but in your late 20's you should take courage and finally do it.

There are various threads on here of people regretting doing just that. There are people on here who struggle with addiction to escorts. It might help some people, but it could crush other people's souls even more, depending on their personal values.

Im almost 30 years old, i lose it at 17.

Listen here: Is nothing wrong with be a virgin, think of being or not a virgin is kinda a Childish tought. Once you grow up, you will realize that lots of "troubles" you think you have at sexual life, arent that important as you think. Theres plenity of time to do stuff with woman, even if you start with it at 35.

In fact, theres lot, lots of man that loss his virginity after his 30, and theres nothing wrong in that. Is the society saying that a man with womans is a winner. That is the most stupid thing i ever heard.

Also think that theres lots of sucess mans that only had sex with a very low number of woman and a very low number of times, before they marries and have no sex with other girls for the rest of their lives! and the are still sucessfull, and more than guys wich have "lot of sex with lot of woman!"

Dont let the society play with your mind.

Dont worry, nothing serious. Give you some time dud

    Peace

It is important not to dwell on the fact that you are a virgin. When I turned 29 I went into panic mode about wanting to lose mine before I was 30 and began joining every dating site going, asking out co-workers, and genuinely considered going to an escort. I thought starting NoFap would change me straight away, but it has been almost a year, I turn 30 in less than 1 month and being a virgin is not something I am ashamed of. Sex was the original goal but over time it became about self improvement. I am no longer interested in PMO, dating apps and I even feel like a crush that I have is fading away as I focus on myself more. It is easy to let something as simple as being a virgin demotivate you, but only you can change that about yourself.

HeHeHe, quitting my porn addiction and my main goal is not about "having sex,' it is about reaching my goal to a healthier lifestyle and staying away from women, dating, and relationships knowing that I would be the first one to get hurt in a relationship. Like I did before in my teenage years whenever I got close to one she would either move to someone else or say things like I have a boyfriend. Now I am 29 years old and I live my life happy and being single and do not care or worry too much about other women in general. So you should be happy with your life and not risk your values for something like sex. Good luck to you buddy in your struggle.

A couple of years ago, people were ashamed when they lost their virginity before marriage. Now it has become the opposite. That's what cultural expectations are like.

  16. I had my first sex at 20 yo I guess with my first real love. Now I´m 25.

Don´t give a shit to your "virgin" status man. Maybe I don´t bang girl at my teenages but after I told her that it was my first time with her she doesn´t believe me. She thought I had a lot of girls cause I was very passionate and confident even if I didn´t be some "playboy" in the past. Passion and real love is everything man. Not horny, but passion. Those things are magic if you are a real lover and mean it 100%. And if you find the real one who loves you for who you really are, than you will be the Alpha man. So keep with no pmo, work on yourself mentally and physically and it will be the best it can. :emoji_muscle::emoji_punch:

And last note mate - I would be impressed rather by girl who´s a virgin than by some girl who has a lot of guys before me. So take it like an honor and opportunity to be unique.

Hmmmmm, I find it interesting how you say and I quote the word "Playboy." You know, in my town where I live at the gas station, they sell playboy magazines to the public. One reason as to why I stay away from that stuff. Ugh.

  18. Shameful? No. Does it make life harder? Yeah, honestly it can. I'm not a virgin anymore, but I didn't lose it until I was 23. I never tried man. Thing is, girls liked me the whole time, but I hated myself so much that I wouldn't even try. I remember people would start talking about sex and I'd just have to stand there and be quiet. God I always hated that shit. Here's the thing though. I remember thinking "if only I weren't a virgin I'd be so much happier and everything would be better." Guess what? That shit could not be further from the truth.

I was still depressed as fuck, hated myself, had very bad anxiety and I was literally the exact same person. Sex is sex man. It doesn't change you at all. It can give you some confidence afterwards, but that's about it. I do enjoy being a non-virgin more than being a virgin, but it really doesn't change your life or anything and it damn sure doesn't make you a man. Loving yourself, being confident in yourself, treating others the way you want to be treated, having values and things you believe in makes you a man.

The girl I lost my virginity to knew I was a virgin and she was very experienced, and yet I made her nervous. A virgin made an experienced girl nervous. Some girls do care, but there's a lot who really don't care. You can tell a girl if you want, but it might be pretty obvious when you start to do the deed. If it really bothers you then keep it to yourself, but just start loving yourself and go out and meet some girls. Start lifting weights and working on your appearance and you'll pull in a girl. Just don't give up. I repeat, DON'T GIVE UP. If you keep on trying, you WILL lose your virginity. You only fail when you stop trying. Good luck.

Don't worry about being a virgin. You are not alone with this problem. In this forum there are many people who are still virgins. And I knew a man who is in the late 30's (or meanwhile in the middle of the 40's), only playing videogames and had never a girlfriend or sex.
Don't worry about it and don't listen to these cowards laughing at you. Think about this thought: What do YOU have, what these people don't have? That's right, you have other characteristics, skills and strengthes then these people. And the women will look up to you.
Be more relaxed, it is NOT to late for you! ;)
And be more patient, I can see you are stressed and nervous - what I can understand. But other people, most of all women, will notice it.

  20. Sex is not what turns a boy into man. What turns you into man is big nofap streak. Only real man can stand test of lust, only real man can not use opportunity to have sex with a woman.

So just concentrate on living life and being busy while increasing your streak and in the process become kind of man who gets sex, instead of thinking how to get sex.

Thats why sex will come on its own when you are ready. Cause God gives you only what you are ready for.

You want to have that validation from girls but once you have situation where sex is easly possible(no matter you use or not the chance) you will realize much better that you are okay and you are enough. Its not a bad thing to be a virgin, in fact energy saving and being pure is a good thing, PMO is bad and too much sex is bad. Infact sex wont make you a man, it can do quite the opposite, but it can give you short lived confidence while you are still sexualy active. But nofap streak - controling your urges and controling your sexual energy is what gives you confidence in the long run.

How do I know it? I was virgin myself till 29 years of age half year ago and Im still 29. But my streak was long and bumby - 274 days hard mode till slept with a girl. I was wiling to give nofap streak 2 years if I have to to become non virgin.
