Hello, everyone. I'm a 16-year-old boy, one with problems. You see, I've been watching porn for a while, I guess since I was 12. At first, it was no problem and all, but now, I think my brain is getting weaker and weaker. I have to quit PMO, because I'm a student and my brain should function normal. I have a very hard curriculum in my country, it's mostly memorizing stuff. I have a girlfriend, I have to stop masturbating for and to her. I'm new to the NoFap community so I don't exactly know any programmes or parameters to stop masturbating, and I've been masturbating daily for two weeks now. I was masturbating once or twice a week before, and now I think it's out of control. A day doesn't pass with me not masturbating. Could you fellers please, please, but please help me stop this shit? I could really, really use some personal guidance.

  2. I know the best advice will come from males but I suggest you start thinking about something else like a hobby you really like so you can focus all your energy on something productive. Good luck!

    1. Every time you have an urge to masturbate, just go to this community and read more stuff about the problem, instead of M. Learn why and how your brain is wired in a bad way from PMO. Hit the PANIC button and get some more motivation.
    2. Everything starts with a thought. Learn to observe your thoughts before you act on them. Create at least some space between a thought and an action. Meditation is a great way to learn observe your thoughts and let them go. It is very simple. Just sit straight on a chair, breathe into your stomach and observe (eyes closed or half-closed). Start with a few minutes in the morning and in the evening and keep doing that every day. Frequency and consistency, not length is what will make a difference. During meditation, you will notice and interesting phenomenon: you are observing your thoughts, not following them, breathing...and all of a sudden you realize, you have been trapped by one of the thoughts and are developing it already...at this point, when you realize that, just return calmly back to the original goal, don't beat yourself up, it's perfectly normal and continue.
    3. If you relapse (i.e. PMO or MO), don't beat yourself up, just return calmly to the original goal (see the parallel with meditation?) and continue. It is a long-term battle and you will eventually win.

    Good luck!

The Ancient One: [as Doctor Strange is being moved through various dimemsions of the Multiverse] You think you know how the world works? You think that this material universe is all there is? What is real? What mysteries lie beyond the reach of your senses? At the root of existence, mind and matter meet. Thoughts shape reality. This universe is only one of an infinite number. Worlds without end. Some benevolent and life giving. Others filled with malice and hunger. Dark places where powers older than time lie ravenous... and waiting. Who are you in this vast multiverse, Mr. Strange?

This line here speaks it all for me.

    Best wishes.
