After a bad week with a number of relapses, today seems like a perfect day to start over again. It's the first of October, so I intend not to PMO for the whole month of October as a start.

    Today is day 1.

An other relapse... I can't even just go through 3 days. The things is that I have a good blocker (I meen it hide everything related to porn) on my phone but it can be easily switch off. And it's the same on my laptop : it's a good blocker that I can't switch off (what impressive is when I download an other browser it close the tab of the new browser so I don't have any other choice but to stay on a protected -about pornography- browser). BUT it's a blocker that function when you show him what he need to block... So I try to block every porn site that I found however it's look like an no end war.

I know that a long post but I was needing to say this in hope that someone know something that works better.

I'm not English so sorry if sometime what you read look weird (about english expression for example)

Day 29. I've hit the place where I don't necessarily want porn anymore, I just want well, sex. It's become a huge motivation instead of a crutch, not that I don't respect it, because I know it could drop me at any time if I'm not careful. It's nice to be seeing the obvious affects of doing something like this though. Maybe it's testosterone, maybe it's clearer cognition, maybe it's a bunch of things together, but it feels great and definitely gives me a reason to not go back.

    Stay strong ladies and gentlemen.

Well, maybe you're spending too much time on the blocker. It's just one part of the equation. The actual work is going to come from you. Without knowing you very well, here are a few pieces of general advice:
    1. Try to clarify your values, especially relating to porn. Answer general questions like "what do you want in life?", "what kind of person do you want to become?", and "what motivates me?" Also consider why porn is bad for you, why you're trying to stop, etc.
    2. Do some research. Gary Wilson's "Your Brain On Porn" is a good place to start.
    3. Maybe watch some youtube videos about getting your life together. Self help stuff. Always helps me to hear good role models talking. Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson are two of my favorites, but there's plenty to choose from.

Best of luck and keep perseverant. It's easy to feel like it's pointless when you're in the place you're in, but it's kind of an illusion. If you keep persistent and find enough motivation you will make the habit, you just have to keep learning from everything and weather the rough time.
