Ok so I just relapsed.. to porn.. well not porn but, porn in disguise. Yes, porn is pretty much, every.. single.. where!!!

So I was watching pretty funny YouTube videos and thought I was fine. WRONG! PORN IS IN DISGUISE ON YOUTUBE TOO! It started with a link someone posted here to a funny yoga pants prank, and after watching and clicking a few other suggested videos, I came across, porn in disguise. "Yoga pants" are so tight and thin its almost like women wearing them are naked, but their skin is just a different color. But it is getting more intense and I warn you not to look it up! Some videos are literally porn, but with yoga pants. Or how I heard on a TEDx talk, "that's porn with clothes on." And the really messed up thing is, almost every girl outside wears them as casual clothes. Porn is in disguise everywhere, so I have a new rule, no more YouTube or Facebook. I'm not going to be hard on myself because when I am, it is just terrible. Just pick my chin up and keep going. Porn already makes me feel like shit, so why should I make that any worse. BE VERY CAREFUL my brothers at what you watch, because porn is everywhere, waiting to tempt you!

To women out their that might be offended at this; don't be ignorant, look at the big picture here, can't you see what I'm trying to tell you, this is not an opinion, this is reality. Maybe you have nothing to do with porn and you're even against it! But if your wearing super tight super thin clothes, how much different are you dressing from a pornstar? You don't think the porn industry loves this. Twerking? Don't even get me started. Where the hell do you think that came from. The porn industry REALLY loves that. Rappers are all we listen to, its mainstream and they are presenting porn. You think Beyonce and Mariah Carey don't present porn because they are women and seem better than all the rappers? They are no better and maybe in even better at presenting porn. Stop dressing like pornstars!

If this were not true, I would be on day 5, but instead 0. Thank you yoga pants, you caused a relapse of pmo (a drug).

Be careful brothers, our entire world is being led astray by porn. Because it's in disguise everywhere.

There's other porn o. YouTube I'm not even gonna give the keywords or hints about it. I wish I never discovered it. I love YouTube there's a lot of positive educational videos and entertaining ones. Now I block it on my phone and iPad and don't have easy access to it.

One of the many restrictions I have to do because of my impulse to consume this shit.

Even written this I can't believe how impulsive and the lack of control I have over myself with this even though I've quite ciggerretts and drugs and never relapse at the rate I have with this.

There's comes a point where a man has to face his inner weaknesses, and decide what sort of character he is going to have.

Are women at fault for wearing tight, body gripping clothes? Perhaps, and surely in some settings clothes like yoga pants would be inappropriate. But you can't control how people decide to dress, what you can control are your own thoughts and mind. If seeing a woman in tight clothes makes you aroused and start fantasizing about her, look away after you first see her. If you keep staring, then you need to work on your self-control.

The way of the wretched indulgent man is to eye fuck sexy women he sees in public, but seeing women online is basically the same thing, those women are real, and whether they are at fault for tempting men is irrelevant, what is relevant is how you exercise self-control of your own mind and thoughts.

Do you want take to the low road and eye fuck strangers? Or do you want to be a standup guy who respects all women, even sluts dressed like they're going to a party in Balthazar's Palace of Sexy Delights. I don't know about you but I want to be the type of man who doesn't oogle women, who holds even scantily clad princesses or sluts in equal esteem as any other person.

The only 'sexy eyes' I want to have is for the woman I'm in a relationship with or trying to woo as a mate.

And reverse that if you are female and reading this post, I suppose men could be held responsible for the same thing, I suppose? Polarize it if you are homosexual?

Btw OP, I know exactly what videos you speak of. My last relapse consisted of a twerking video spree, goddam that shit should be outlawed, no? I don't understand how that is even acceptable for teenage girls to be learning, like in Siberia and the Czech it's all the rage. Also my main indulgence was erotica, women in scantily clad clothes and bikinis.

I'm just as guilty as you are, but I'm trying to change, and not allow myself to fall prey to pixelated succubi. You have no excuse for allowing yourself to click a bunch of youtube videos that led you to that shit.

The only thing you have control over is yourself, change yourself, and you change the world.

While I generally agree with the ideas you share here, I find your desire to respect everyone to be somewhat disingenuous when you use words like slut, succubi, etc... Ultimately using loaded language like this results in you looking down on these people that you would classify as such.

At the end of the day we are all human and susceptible to making poor decisions. These people you're looking down on could be dealing with their own issues of loneliness, sex addiction or any number of other issues. Or they may just be very sexual and comfortable sharing that with other people, which in an of itself is not a bad thing. At that point it's a matter of you not operating at that level of sexual awareness and having the same comfort level.

Getting a handle on your own issues with sex won't really be possible until you can put an end to the judgement.

Who said I'm looking down on anyone? Apparently these terms offend you, and you view them as derogatory. But I would like to thank you for your opinion and comment, it's duly noted. Perhaps the comment was radical and offensive.

The definition of slut from Merriam Webster:

    slut noun \ˈslət\

    Definition of SLUT
    1
chiefly British : a slovenly woman
    2
    a : a promiscuous woman; especially : prostitute
    b : a saucy girl : minx

    suc·cu·bus
    ˈsəkyəbəs/Submit
    noun
    plural noun: succubi
a female demon believed to have sexual intercourse with sleeping men.

Why I chose to use this term in relation to pixels is a bit out there and metaphysical, so I end my description with these words.

No one is making judgements here except you my friend.

All types of people deserve respect, and all are capable of change.

If my words really bothered you enough to feel compelled to criticize that post, I assure you I won't post anything "offensive" like that again. And here's two things to ponder in the meantime:

    Don’t Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

    Don’t Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

My point was more in the fact that these terms, particularly slut, are loaded well beyond what you find in the dictionary and the choice of words we use matters, both when communicating with others and our own internal dialog. I'm not judging that your intentions are something other than what you say but that your efforts to reach a goal of treating everyone with equal respect may not be possible while using terms that carry extreme negative connotations. This is coming from someone in the USA, so if you're from another country and/or english isn't your primary language, I can see how the under lying baggage for the usage of these words may not stick out for you.

Gods mercy is abundant. Make no mistake about the nature of this disease. We are on the battlefield of righteousness & sin . It's happening now. Our choices dictate what side is winning. As mentioned on NoFap - "the wolf you feed is the wolf that wins." Gods mercy is abundant.

    1) OP - good observations,
    its a slippery slope

    2) purity - great posts, i whole heartedly believe that it has a ton of what we bring to the table. i can mentally undress the gals in an L.L. Bean catalog, or a gal at work, and it becomes porn, because of what I bring to the table. i liked the term eye fuck.

"slut" may have been a bit harsh, but but call a spade a spade.
the girls in the porn industry are there by whatever road they got there, and probably by a long road of (imho) POOR decisions. (and some, perhaps, not even by their own free will, i imagine) they certainly do have their own issues to deal with, just like us.

    "pixelated succubi" was interesting.
porn is indeed a dark industry, whether you truly believe in the existence of demons and a devil, or not. porn and fapping suck the life energy out of all involved. girls (and guys in the videos) and viewers as well. it has terribly screwed up my ideas on what sex should be, amongst other negative effects.
i can remember a while back, there was a stretch when i'd awaken at 03:00am with a rock hard boner, and slavishly go take advantage of it, (iPhone in hand) and then go back to sleep. while there was no visible demon there, there was an iPhone, and high speed internet porn via the "tube sites".

so i agree, your mental outlook has a ton to do with it.

    3) whatever . . . what, then, is????

    4) kylejohnson15 - heck, the WHOLE of proverbs 7
i liked the bit about the wolf we feed . . .
it all comes down to the CHOICES we make

Porn is not the problem, the problem is education. I mean, people should get a grip on themselves. Saying that porn is the problem is like saying:
"Some people are insulting, free speech is indeed a problem that needs to be dealt with"
    or
"There is mental ilness, therefore guns should be banned".

I get you so well bro. I understand what you mean.
Before starting nofap, i would try to control myself because of some youtube video i watched which btw was NOT (direct) porn or some instagram photo or whatnot. Then i would continue to find more of whatever that was and relapse. Now, i still use all these social media sites (although for a significantly less amount of time) but haven't relapsed yet, thank god. This is mainly because of the nofap community and its support and success stories.
And i agree with you- the way ladies dress can influence us a lot even if they didnt intend it to happen.
And this last statement is just an opinion (so anyone reading this- don't get too upset over this) : the porn industry and music industry seem to be going hand in hand in the way the influence us. It's almost like they're trying to introduce porn through the music industry now (and you were spot on with your observation of twerking @lilnavadaa.
All the best with getting rid of this disease of pmo and may you succeed in this and every endeavor you take on for the better!

    Agreed
I had gotten into electronica / dance music
Have had to quit listening to that (think: Nadia Ali's "feels so good")
    Sexy lyrics, and sexy music
And all I could think about is wanting to hump
    Which led to fapping, instead

    And forget music videos
    Sex, sex, sex.
