I just can't stop thinking about sex with him...

    Hey guys,

    I posted this on Reddit but I didn't really got any advices. Since this is a forum made specifically for nofap, I hope that I will find some help here.

    So, Yesterday I spent half of my day thinking about one guy and my "friend" was hard all the time. I was studying and my thoughts wandered which allowed "him" to get up. Then, later, I was on my PC reading the news, and the same thing happend. After, when I was in my bed, it happend... again...
    I just don't know what to do about it. Except when in my bed, I am always doing something to not think about sex and it still somehow comes up in my mind both yesterday and today. What can I do about it?

    Just to clarify, I am gay, so I am not confused about that. I just don't know what to do about my sexual thoughts which mostly include that guy, and I don't know how to stop them when they occur even when I am doing something else.

    Hmm. Do something else more intensely? Or maybe do stuff that absorbs you more.
    Apparently is can take months to get over the PMO and fantasies.

    Well, I need to think about school but I hope I will find something to occupy me more.

    That wouldn't work. I am too organized for it to bother me. Thanks for response anyway.

    Yes, but what exactly does it bother you ?

    Is your erection painful or what ?

    Why do you want those thoughts to go away ? Maybe you are in love ? In which case it's normal.

    Oh, sorry, maybe I was not very clear. It bothers me because it stays up and I am trying to do something else and so it makes me very uncomfortable. It's also the reason why I want those thoughts to go away.

    It can be difficult to make thoughts go away.

    Of course, there is meditation that you can practice, but that takes a lot of time and effort.

    Besides that, what somebody already said above: try to focus more on your other task.

    Attraction and sexual response is natural and a part of who you are, so it's not something you're going to be able to get rid of easily. Saying that, if you feel like you're getting turned on because you're imaging all sorts of sexual scenarios with the guy because you've watched lots of gay porn, then quitting porn (as well as masturbation) will definitely help in the long run.

    I think a lot of time we get turned on and we panic, which is a run of hormones in itself which is also a turn on, and it gets into this cycle where we can't turn it off. Assess your mind for whats causing your feelings, recognise them and move them aside, calm your thoughts and then move onto something else.
