Depending on will power alone ?

In this journey of 'No PMO', we are essentially depending on will power alone. Which means until our will power gets strong enough, we will keep on relapsing. The objective is not to relapse, so I think we should seek help from those around us that we trust. Friends, colleagues, partners, parents. They can help us through this. If we rely on will power alone, who knows how long it is going to take ?

Besides, I believe, the main thing PMO addiction exploits is that the addict is not going to share his problem with anyone else and is going to keep isolating himself more and more as he tries to fight it with his will power and fails. I think we can turn this battle around by telling those close to us about what we are going through.

It's going to be tough telling them, we will worry about the consequences but it's going to be worth it. That's one way to starve the shit out of this monster. This monster feeds on the premise that we are alone in this battle. We need reinforcements. Alone we may win, but not easily. Relapses after relapses is not the answer.

Why suffer in silence when it makes us worse ?
