What I seen on a young mans smartphone

    So I buy n sell electronics and I bought this smartphone from a guy a what I seen saved on it kinda shocked me a little.

    Usually people delete everything on there phone, which I would advise anyone to do, but if they don't il be a little noisy before I erase it for them. Looking at the videos I seen some saved porn but it was kinda disturbing porn. Just completely disrespecting, slapping woman, idk not stuff I'm really into.

    I felt this huge rush of adrenaline I guess from the shock and discussed. I guess that's what people get hooked on. I didn't mo to it and if there was anything that I would have liked I may have. I just feel kinda sorry for people who are addicted to this and I'm just glad I'm on a path of recovery.

    Since this I think I'm not longer gonna go through people's electronics I'm just gonna factory reset it because it's a dangerous trigger for me. Cuz if any of those videos been good to me I would have pmo right there.

    Anyway just had to share all be well.

    Yea I reset all the phones I buy. He looked like a normal guy just deep into the garbage.

    I think you meant "disgust" not "discussed" ;). I got a kick out of that. This is a tough one. Porn may have some pretty edgy material but I know there are a lot of loving couples out there who practice those edgy things in their own sex lives. Does it make that act "not okay"? I don't think so. It all depends on the context these acts are happening.

    You probably look like a normal guy, too. What do porn addicts look like anyway? They look like you, they look like me and they look like this guy. The porn he saved was not close to the worst types of porn. Even when someone is convicted for paedophile acts, they often look like normal guys.

    Lol yea I meant disgust. I guess I'm being kinda judgmental and it's not a place for that since I'm sure others watch similar stuff.

    It just kinda alarmed me and made me think about how truly horrible this addiction is and motivates me to continue a recovery.

    Porn is one of those topics that just inspires judgement. The industry is demeaning to women, it doesn't treat it's actors very well and it creates some pretty big problems for hundreds of thousands of men across the world every day. I get it when people say they hate porn and won't argue with them, but at the same time, I think we need to not lump pornography with sexual habits between healthy couples that don't conform to our cultures standards of what sex should look like. That's just good sexual progress for all of us.
