I'm afraid this isn't going to be a long post. I'm terribly busy at the moment, with exams coming up. I'll definitely write up a detailed report on my results and thoughts once my exams are done (which will be in 3 weeks' time).

Somewhat in an anticlimactic fashion, I had completely forgotten about my 90 day goal. Today being Sunday, I just visited this website and my counter said 100% complete! It feels extremely good to have reached this goal and I know my life is just going to get better and better.

My life has improved greatly since I quit porn and artificial pleasure. I am now much more confident, enthusiastic in life, social and just 'good' in general. I've incorporated hard-wired routines into my lifestyle, and good habits like healthy food, swimming, meditating and reading come naturally to me. In my 'porn' days, I was a recluse, hardly accepting any social invitation and just spent hours wasting time on things my brain simply thought was rewarding. Now, porn is a distant past and my rewards only come from hard work, good habits and socialising.

I realise a lot of people expect 'superpowers' from rebooting. This is true, but you must understand that it is only the initial part of the reboot. Your improvements will become part of your life and after some time, the 'superpowers' just feel like a normal part of you.

Anyway, I've still got a long way to go. I now have a hunger to keep building my life and achieve my dreams. That, in my mind, is the true benefit of quitting my addictions.

Hell yeah! I'm almost there and life is already so much better. This really isn't just about quitting PMO, it's about changing your entire life one step at a time.

Congratulations and thanks for the post friend! Reading your post helps inspire and motivate me because I can't express how much I connect to your personality during your 'porn days'. Avoiding social invitations, constantly thinking of rewards, I mean these were just a few of the many things that are apart of my system. Thanks for the post, and keep us updated! :)

  10. Very inspiring indeed. I can only imagine the true benefits you've received through your journey - but achieving ones dreams afterwards, especially when PMO doesn't have any power over you any longer, must be the best feeling in the world.

I'm only at day 13 and I already feel my creativity evolving before my eyes.

Thank you all for your replies. It is a beautiful thing that you guys are this supportive.

Some of the comments here tell me that I was a bit too loose with the term 'superpowers'. You must realise that this very subjective. In my case, I was a social recluse, never talking to people, procrastinating when it came to important things. So being able to go out, meet, and talk to people was a superpower in itself for me. The message I was trying to get across is that the so called 'superpowers' are just a small part of the reboot, which is filled with bigger and more important rewards.
