Why is there so much of incest porn out there??

I am on reboot journey and on day 11. I am thinking about how porn habits changed over years. It started soft and then little hardcore. However, I still can't wrap my head around the fact that how the heck did incest become so popular?? I generally read erotic stories over porn. Even in case of that, I saw many threads related to incest. What has porn done to people?? It really makes me very sick.

  2. yeah i noticed that too. I think its like just so taboo and crazy that it spikes the dopomine WAAAYY past normal. Its shitty porn that fucks shit up and makes shit weird. I would say its like the most popular genre right now in general. I agree its no good.

  3. Incest porn does seem to have had a huge resurgence.

In the 80’s there was a series of porn films that I won’t name. All had the same name just different numbers and subtitles.
And many individual full length movies of the genre.

90’s seemed to get away from that theme. But I don’t think the dip had anything to do with porn producers having a guilty conscience. I think there was another factor that I won’t mention here since it involves one actress.

I think the producers wanted to make them but stayed away to avoid government attention.

Once things completely died down over that one actress the producers got right back into it.

    Just my theory of course.

    You are right.

Only thing which bothers me is that incest is fine to be a niche category but it is mainstream now. Its like everywhere.

One of the reasons why porn became negative thing in my mind is every time I browse porn and I see incest, it just turns me off. There were number of times before where I saw that word and fixated on it and postponed the relapse by few minutes/hours.

Although all my friends watch and discuss about GoT, I don't watch it for two reasons: Nudity and Incest.

  5. The father/daughter porn genre was popular in the 80’s.

  6. It’s IMO, pure evil. I am convinced it fills fathers and guardians heads with ideas and they eventually act on them with horrible life changing consequences for the youngsters they’re suppose to be taking care off.

  7. I guess I can understand the appeal with some of the genres like step mom/dad or step brother/sister. I imagine that there are millions of people in the world where this fantasy is a real issue in their lives. But real incest being portrayed in porn is repulsive and I really can't imagine this being a reality in any family.

  8. Because if someone can think it, it can be made and the internet is the fastest way to publish media in the 21st century. The depths of human depravity are mirrored by the sheer number of categories one can select on a porn site, once those have been exhausted and the 'grey areas' have been explored there is only two ways, either you stop and realise you're going nowhere or you carry on and discover illegal content landing you in even deeper and murkier water. I would like to add that Incest porn is illegal to view and produce so stay well away from it, it can also lead onto other things because of the word links associated with such a category.

I think it's a society issue, with all the main stream spot light it has got and the ever increasing taboo fetishes of people, incest as has become a mainstream of porn. I mean there are alot do shows that depict it and also alot of books that have taboo family relationships and because of the exposure to it more people want it and that's why it's getting bigger .

I don't know but i feel that it will eventually become a normal part of porn and maybe even books and movies due to how it's being normalized by being exposed to it,first time you hate it but over time you just accept that it's a normal thing.

    I hope I'm wrong but that's what I feel.

  10. I’ve been unpleasantly surprised by just what kind of fetishes are out there. Crazy. Glad to be leaving the crap behind.

  11. I haven't watched much incest porn in years but when I was mid-20's I would look for it all the time even though it was hard to find back then. There was one site called incest taboo that had a few "real" films that seemed real but not sure if they were. As this may be hard to believe but i have also had an emotional and physical relationship with my cousin for about 10 years. We have never had sex but we have flirted and kissed and have done a lot of touching. It hasn't happened in a while because we don't see each other as often as we used to but when we do we still love that we have this little secret although on another level we both go through phases where we don't want it to happen anymore. I used to think i was in love with her but it's definitely more of a lust thing. Kind of like blue balls. Imagine flirting and kissing for years but it never escalates past that (her choice)?

Wow. The more I share on here the weirder I feel. No wonder I haven't shared anything with anyone before.

  12. i am ashamed to say but i used to watch that type of porn i think because the 'regular' stuff dose not cut so you need to go sicker to get off more

  13. It's there in gay porn as well. The titles say stepdad and stepson etc and they say that at least once, but they get going it becomes dad and son. There's a film studio which basically just produces this kind of gay porn, which I have always tried to avoid because the idea creeped me out.

  14. Because it is pervasive and naughty, and I think more people than would freely admit have had at least a small degree of curiosity of it before. Why did you watch porn in the first place? Because it is pervasive and naughty, and you were curious? Porn will make you more and more and more sick if you let it. And there are countless other equally abhorrent genres.
Rape porn, violent and rough porn, painful porn gangbang
etc, are all based off of sexual violence and degradation of women. People shout rape culture and are outraged with domestic violence, but nobody in popular culture seems to make the connection to porn. I am expecting that 20 years from now there will be enough studies to overwhelmingly prove obsessive porn use is undeniably the biggest predictor of sexual violence and rape. And that incest porn is the biggest predictor of incest and pedophilia.

  15. Thank you for posting that! Especially the last part.

People keep going on and on that porn doesn’t lead to violence. In some cases of serial rapists and serial killers of females, it was found that the criminal had a large porn collection. Also if porn puts into people’s heads disgusting acts that they eventually try out on their SO’s, it only makes sense that watching violent porn will eventually lead to people acting out those fantasies on others.

Keeping that in mind helps me stay away from PMO. I had degraded into lots of violent material and was starting to think about really doing it. That’s when I realized I needed to go to a therapist and I did.

  16. Might very well be one of the factors. The main stream 1962 movie Lolita may have been a factor too.

  17. I agree. These days people are so selective on what they get 'outraged' about. They shout sexism at almost everything, they insist there is a rape culture, but they don't have a problem with porn. Why? they are in flat out denial. Probably ashamed of their own porn habits (I'm just thinking aloud here).

Good on you for swallowing your pride and seeing a therapist. Mad respect. I'm hoping it has been really benificial.

  18. Thanks, it was very beneficial. Hope you’re doing well too!

You mentioned people in denial due to their own porn habits and I think you hit the nail on the head. It’s a lot bigger problem than people want to admit.
