been on 7 days nofap cycle for a few months now with no porn. Sometimes I skip a week and do 14 days because I dont even feel like fapping using just my imagination. On the other hand I now have herculean errection when having sex and funny enough I last longer than before nofap. Not sure if the errection is linked to nofap or the fact I stopped smoking after 14 years of trying but the nofap gave me the drive to stop definitely so its linked either way. My question is, will reading erotic stories while jerking it off on fapday affect my dopamine receptors and whatnot like watching porn did?

    Also, first thread thank you

Mmm thought so. I didn’t even think id be aroused by it but I was reading a story and was like daaaaamn this is so hot. I guess ill keep away if it damages neurotransmitters just like porn. Waiting on more feedback to make a decision but thabk you for your input.

  3. I loved the erotic stories even more than the pictures and videos and it was the last thing to go. I was trying to cling on to them but I just can’t handle it, they turn me on more than anything else.

I’d write my own stories too and go where ever my imagination took me.

So no more erotic literature for me.

Yes totally Agree, I guess you are right in the way that if I start geetting into that ill just slowly get used to it and start looking for more hardcore stories and so on. Fuck it not worth it.

  5. The name of the game is self pleasure. Pleasuring yourself is the problem. So yes it does count.

Dépends of the level of violence.
Is it kind of sub pornography movie scenario or some pink love story ?

Anyway , you cannot call anymore that abstinence a reboot if you feed your brain with sub P.

Pornographic stories divided in categories just like on porn sites.

Yes it counts. I've never watched porn and yet I'm here, recovering from erotic stories. I haven't realised that it was worse than porn until reading the comments above, but seeing it that way yes, it is worse than porn. Stay away from that.
