Stay strong brother! For sure, you will feel worse if you relapse. That's just how addiction works. It convinces us to indulge in the porn, and we feel good for a short time, then feel like shit. It tricks us. You won't feel better. You'll feel worse. We always feel worse. Never better. We never say "Man I'm glad I beat off to a bunch of porn. I feel like a better person now!"

    And...I know it's hard.

But...there are tools. Stick to this website, read the success stories, remind yourself on here why it's not worth it. Then, find something to do. Read, go to the gym, make some connections and comments on NoFap, write down some goals you want to accomplish with all the energy you'll have, listen to some motivation for nofap on YouTube, go for a walk, take up a hobby, meditate, pray, whatever works that points you in a positive direction away from porn. Write down all the ways porn has messed up your life. The urges will pass, and when they pass, you'll realize that you can do this with each and every urge. Tell yourself that tomorrow you can fap all you want. As much as you want. But just for today, don't let porn be an option. Not an option, so now what? Constructive, positive things for your life. Porn is a damn liar, it's a wolf dolled up in a prom dress ready to bite your dick off. Sorry if that was a little much. Good luck, you got this!

Now, that's done and gone, in the past. Don't beat yourself up. Hope you don't binge, and are able to get back on track. Keep coming back and don't give up!

I'm no expert, but I've been meditating daily for about ten years and have received benefit from doing it. Like anything we learn, it takes practice. It's helpful to find a group locally and sit meditation with others. Also helpful to try to develop a daily practice, even 5-10 minutes to start, and work up to more if you feel inclined. Insight Timer is a great app, and I've heard Headspace is good for meditation too. You can find damn near everything you need to know about getting started with meditation online, the biggest factor is your willingness to try it out, find something that seems to fit, and have patience and stick with it. It's common for people to sit down to meditate, try to focus on the breath or mantra, and are surprised that all they do is think! Their mind seems out of control. That's not because you're a hopeless case and "can't" meditate, it's that you're just starting to shine the light of awareness on your mind, and our minds are nuckin futs! They're constantly jumping from judgments to desires to negative criticism to inspiration to self consciousness to happy to sad to this to that!...

Once you start trying out a practice, you can use that practice--like mindfulness of breathing for example--as an anchor throughout the day. When you're feeling scattered of having urges and sexual thoughts and imagery, just come back to the sensation of the breath coming in and out of your nose. Just feel the coolness as it goes in, and the slight warmth as the breath goes out. That's it. Simple but not easy! You can count silently, too, as an aid, breathing in "1" breathing out "2" up to "10" then start over. Whatever works best for you. It's a cool experiment to find out what works for us.

So, stick with it, and over time it'll get better and you'll get a sense that it's a very valuable thing to be doing. Maybe set a goal to go on a retreat sometime, which provides a conducive environment to go deeper into the practice and allow the mind to calm down. Good luck!!!

Well done for reaching 13 days that is something to be proud of.Porn doesn't care about you at all,we however do.
Porn is a poison that causes self destruction.I was busy at work and didn't notice you needed help until it was too late.So you need to save posts here that you wrote or from others here or some that you found on the net to help you. Also do some press ups, running exercises as well as press the panic button!Your next aim is 14 days. Good luck!

Yes! Great advice on the panic button. That literally saved my bacon the day after I last relapsed, to prevent me from binging. Helped for getting back on track.

Day 27/90 checking in.Not going to give up in the middle. I will complete the journey which lasts the lifetime. NO PM for lifetime. Going to gym daily from last 3 months, Improved my strength and got some body shape. Started taking my academics seriously after starting NOFAP..... before i just use to waste my time. People who say NOFAP doesnt work need to understand one thing...its that NOFAP is not going to do anything directly to us BUT NOFAP gives the mental space in putting your life in a healthy track. Cheers to NOFAP for life.

do physical exercise, it´s a great way to release energy and to boost your mood. don´t fight porn thoughts, just ignore them. the more you fight them the stronger they´ll get till the point of relapse. ignore them, just keep doing what you´re doing. focus
