Why does everybody want to live in either California or New York so badly?

May I ask what state that is?

 

I'm a Califag. I'd love to visit NY. Try New York pizza and see if the hype is worth it.

 

I've wanted to vent about this for a while so here we go! California in my opinion is the most overrated state in the US alongside New York. I lived in the dirty south before moving to Cali and the difference in culture and environment is massive. Cali seems very rushed, fake, and angry. Californians are not as materialistic, but they are unbelievably fake in terms of character and personality compared to the state I used to live in. One second they're friends with you, the other they're talking crap about you behind your back. People also tend to be peer pressured to not be themselves and tend to not make a scene about themselves. Bad drivers which brings me to the point that there is a crap ton of soccer moms! Oh boy, do I dislike those creatures. Also the gun laws and emission laws here suck ass! They are really taking a hit on my hobbies and it's something that I feel restricts me from being happy. Taxes are monumental as well. Also I'd say the beaches are crap as well. You can go to the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida and they'd blow Cali's beaches out of the water. Too many restrictions on EVERYTHING! Cali is really Commiefornia in my opinion. Take my post with a grain of salt just my opinion on the internet.

 

California is living off of its past reputation when it was not controlled by douchebag leftist oligarchs that don't give a shit about the working class or middle class. They are epitomized by the butthurt never Trumpers like zuckerturd, jack dorsey of twitter, and the senior soyboys at apple and google. The silent majority have exposed them, and now the only tool they're really banking on is censorship.

I moved to Turkey last year and I am happy to live here. I do not know why all people want to live in LA and NY. Firstly it was hard a bit because I did not know language, codes, cities and etc. But now I like to live in Bodrum. Sometimes when I need to use some area code I check site .

 

Dammit! I wanted to move to Coeur d'Alene when I retire. The whole point is to leave the Great Socialist Paradise I'm in now behind.

California is the best! You can't beat the weather, the diversity, the things to do, etc. The people who don't like it are mostly complaining because they can't afford it, and complaining about other people talking behind your back - then try to make better friends...

 

Well ill soon have a small danky old house that ill sell for way more than whats its worth here in California for some eager "wannabe cool" easterner. I seen it just get worse and worse here year after year..
