The same here! Although (as I mentioned previously) I still have some heavy mental roadblocks to pass before I can reach even higher, I have never felt so alive, energetic, fulfilled and present in the moment as I am these days. As late as Christmas and New Year's, I had a really hard time breaking bad habits and was simultaneously an insecure, anxious, lust-filled and depressed fellow. Probably due to lower T-levels and essential minerals that were lost during PMO.
I even thought for some time that I might have a touch of Asperger's syndrome because most of the symptoms were there but I could never for anything in the world think it had to do with masturbating a few times a week.

Last week, I took the decision to hand in my resignation at work as I finally realized that I have stagnated and not been developing as a person or employee during my last year there. Although I won't hand it in until January, I know it is a risky decision but I reasoned that I can't go back to that place if I am rarely challenged at it and receive a poor wage as well (compared to other people in the same field).
Then, I do better resign and look for a new job where they would appreciate my presence, skills and experiences a bit more. It is worth taking some risks in life and live uncomfortable for some time, because if you never do it, you will never develop and take those big leaps forward towards greatness.
I am confident it will all go fine and that I find a better paid and more stimulating job during 2019!!

Thanks for sharing man. I’ll have to read up on that. Yeah the head tingling is crazy weird! How long. Have your withdrawal symptoms been happening?

Thanks for the info and getting back to me. If you found anything that helped with the brain tingling, let me know. Did you also find that there were good days and bad days with the tingling? Like anxiety almost makes it worse?

  4. Wow! You sound just like me in so many ways. Yes, you only get one life and you have to live it.

I spent most of my life addicted to pmo. Well, never again. This new life is soooo good, I never want to go back to that pmo hell hole.

RE meeting women: all I can say is the no pmo will make you more confident, and effectively an alpha male. Just hang out where single women suitable for you are also likely to be and let the magic happen! No problem at all. If I was single now I would be very confident in my self. Good luck.

what's working for me is butterbur extra ( that's the band of the supplement), acupuncture, and I just did a 4 week round of magnesium infusions at a naturopath 1 per week. Oh and catching up on sleep is a huge one.

  8. First major withdrawals happened after 5 years of excess pmo use such as clogged ears, nerves sounds from the back of my neck and zero motivation. 2 Years by having short streaks(3 weeks to 60 days) withdrawals start getting worse each streak along with flatline. My current 100+ streak, they come in waves. 10× worse, the head tingling, sensation, body heated up etc.. the withdrawals you see other nofappers talking about I'm going through all. I believe that's the streak I've waiting after 7 years in order to be free from pmoing.

Such an inspirational post. Just shows that if you can do it, anyone else can as well. I’m on day 61, on my second flatline...... You said something along the lines of 90 days isn’t enough. That’s understandable. I’m going 180 anyway, but bro, these past few days, I haven’t been feeling too good man. Ever since day 45, my social anxiety has come back and my mood hasn’t been good. Any words of advice?

  12. There are gonna be days where They are gonna suck or we get really depressed or when our anxiety acts up it really stresses us out believe me i still have days like that too but going thru those mood swings, that anxiety and all that negative things in your life and not stopping only makes you stronger and focus in being closer to your old self before pmo. Porn is something that is gives us comfort but try seeking out other ways in what makes u happy like a hobby or going outside to experience that good breeze and think to yourself that you are doing the best you can man. Don’t let those days get to you, you are already on a path to greatness and in pursuit of being more happy.

Did you start feeling better around the 60 day period tho??

  16. Absolutely you can do it!

  17. I felt the benefits around day 50 I still had a little bit a brain fog around that time but I do remember that I have had some flatlines, high anxiety sometimes, mood swings, but out of all of the that I had a much happiness in myself and in confidence.

I know it is a risk I am taking by quitting my current job (and stable pay-check) this upcoming spring but pursuing a different career and starting something on your own (from scratch) can indeed be one of the most life-changing and uplifting things possible. I have plenty of ideas that should be in alignment with today's time and age so I will definitely not be restless as I am trying to achieve some of them. The short term goal is being able to make at least the same money I made at my former job (or more) and as I am on my way doing so, I will of course set the bar higher as it progresses.
There are many reasons for why I will resign from my current employment (which is one requiring some skills) in a few months but the most common ones are:

-Feeling no appreciation or gratitude from my boss or coworkers.
-Having not much in common with my coworkers (most of them live in soul-less mediocrity and never challenge themselves). It is also hard talking freely about plenty of things with most of them as they are too sensitive and politically correct. It is like walking on eggshells.
-Doing quite mundane and repetitive tasks, despite asking for some more challenging ones. I never get promoted to do some more challenging ones, despite my boss telling me I will be handed some quite soon (it's like cheap sales-talk over and over).

-Living in a small town in which I have no roots, family connections and very little social-life outside of work. This town is unfortunately inhabited by (mostly) mediocre people with a loser mentality who never do anything to lift themselves or others to the next level.
-Poor wage (still) after working there for four years and sacrificing much of my own spare time and comfort just to work for them (250 km away from my mother and siblings).
-A corrupt and poor company culture where the higher positions are just circulated within the company instead of recruiting people from the outside who can bring in some new ideas and fresh air. That's one reason it might be sinking in a few years time.

In other words, do I have any reason or obligation whatsoever to remain at this place?
Definitely not, and I will be more than happy the day I pack my things at the office and head out the main-entrance for good!
