    Hi, everybody.

A little bit of background, I am 22 and discovered my PIED at 19 in the humiliating, frustrating way that we all do. Since then, I have had three years' worth of 1 to 3 month streaks with occasional PMO binges during times of turmoil. In all this time, I have never seemed to improved more than "just enough" to have sex. By "just enough," I mean that I had those erections that were hard enough to penetrate, but were never particularly hard and could go soft at any moment. Needless to say, my occasional PMO binges would set back even those modest improvements.

As of right now, I am not on a particularly long streak, but it has been one that has yielded by far the quickest and most noticeable improvement in PIED symptoms. It is the first streak I've had in which I have been leading a relatively healthy and stress-free life. I have completely stopped playing video games and binge drinking, and I am 100% convinced that these nasty, artificial dopamine producers are things that were holding me back.

I am not sure I need to write more comprehensively about this observation, but since I drank too much in college, I sought to see if I could go more than a few days without a drink. By doing this, I was lowkey expecting to see withdrawal symptoms associated with dependency. Luckily those didn't manifest and I found instead that waking up after getting some quality rest, and not having even a slight hangover, was better than any kind of a "buzz" that I would have had the night before. At about this time I sold my gaming PC because gaming was another life-consuming habit of mine. These two major lifestyle changes have resulted in a sudden and impressive improvement below the belt.

    Now as for specifics...

I have impressive morning wood-- it's very common now, and much harder than any erection I've had in the course of my three years' worth of streaks. Also, I know I shouldn't do this, but I can get these erections if I'm laying down and playing a fantasy in my head or just particularly relaxed.

That sounds really interesting, thanks for sharing! In what way did you see improvement below the belt? Can you be more specific? I suffer from PIED and i am soon to reach the 90 days mark, nothing seems to be happening for me down there and my PIED is still a problem, at least i think it is...

Ok, I will edit my orginalpost and add these details.

I quit videogames and binge drinking 2 months ago. Since then I have endured one 35 day streak, and now this current streak. I have gotten impressive morning woods starting sometime after about the first month, but it was noticeable and very attributable to my change in habit. I can say this because I have felt SIGNIFICANTLY better overall. I'm never averse to spending time with family, I am more focused and have come to find more enjoyment in peoples' company, work, and all sorts of small things I encounter during the day. I'm more present with people, for lack of a better word.

    Now as for erectile health...

I have impressive morning wood-- it's very common now, and much harder than any erection I've had in the course of my three years' worth of streaks. Also, I know I shouldn't do this, but I can get these erections if I'm laying down and playing a fantasy in my head or just particularly relaxed.

Any update? Ive played video games my whole life (20) and have had little luck with long rebooting or rewiring in terms of fixing pied. Cutting out all stimulus in my life starting now if it's what it takes. Were you able to fully heal after dropping video games?
