Day 14 - Doing great, sad to realize what I've lost all these years

    Hey guys,

As a newcomer, 2 weeks in, I've stayed strong with no relapse and I am definitely changing. My aura is different, I can feel it. People behave differently around me, tons of energy (too much), everything said to happen is happening and I love it.

That said, it's really hitting me the situations or events I've covered up and run from for maybe even years by MO/PMO....even people I've lost or didn't commit to enough. Embracing this reality is really really hard, lot of emotion....

Any advice for getting through this necessary realization and not beating yourself up for not starting this healing sooner?

    Thank you! :)

I know how you feel. Im also 29 and today is day 15 no porn.

I had a lot of these same thoughts dealing with my personal finances and debt. I was kicking myself for beong so dumb for most of my 20s. But then I would hear callers to the Dave Ramsey show in their 50s, 60s even 70 years old who had no retirement, anorexic savings and obese debt.

So think of it like this. instead of focusing on the past and the years you've wasted be grateful for the years you now have and won't waste watching porn. I'm sure theres guys on here much older than us who wished they stopped years ago or found nofap sooner.

    Hang in there brother!

  4. you cant change the past, all that matters is the fact that you are breaking the habit now. I had the same issues i would beat myself up over a lot of my mistakes, all that matters is what you are doing now.

That's a really good perspective. Definitely could be way worse eh?
