    Day 8/365.

Today went well, but today was also packed quite full with stuff, so little time to do anything bad. I did have a couple of urges, but managed to suppress them and think about other things.

Day 66/365 is what I would've said if I didn't respect honesty. Today is however day 0/365, but I'm not feeling like beating myself up over it. Instead I am actually in a very positive state and appreciative for this fresh new beginning which I have dedicated to self-development. So far my aura of energy and confidence still remains, and I'm excited to go out for my run tomorrow and continue with the cold showers. Both this October and November I took 10 cold showers each two months, and every time with the most uncomfortable temperature possible. Now, to accompany and strengthen my current NoFap spree, I'm aiming for taking them daily for 40 days through the winter until New Year's Eve arrives. Choosing to view this situation from a long-term perspective, I'm glad to know that I can only keep on growing and become stronger than I was before.

Hey man. You are unstoppable. 90% of people dont do this. Bruce Lee says all great attempts are glorious even if they fail. You are trying which means you are light years ahead of people not trying and living in darknesss

    • Day 2/365
Good morning people! I'm on the second day of this challenge. I have not yet reached a full week but it's nothing I can try! And you? as has been the daily battle against one's own flesh? It seems difficult, but the spirit is stronger. After all, anything in your fleshly nature was fed by yourself! So if this has got you in the way, take care of it! Hold on!

67 percent of the women told the researchers that they didn’t exercise regularly, and 37 percent said they didn’t get any exercise. After this initial assessment, Crum and Langer divided the maids into two groups. They explained to the first group how their activity related to the number of calories they burned and told the maids that just by doing their jobs, they got more than enough exercise. They didn’t give any such information to the second group (who worked in different hotels from the first group and so wouldn’t benefit from conversations with the other maids). One month later, the researchers found that the first group lost an average of two pounds, lowered their percentage of body fat, and lowered their systolic blood pressure by an average of 10 points—even though they hadn’t performed any additional exercise outside of work or changed their eating habits in any way. The other group, doing the same job as the first, remained virtually unchanged. This

We are creatures of habit. We think somewhere between 60,000 to 70,000 thoughts in one day,1 and 90 percent of those thoughts are exactly the same ones we had the day before.
Joe Dispenza, You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter

the human body is its own best apothecary and because the most successful prescriptions are filled by the body itself.
Joe Dispenza, You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter

As these studies show, our awareness alone can have an important physical effect on our bodies and our health. What we learn, the language that’s used to define what we’ll experience, and how we assign meaning to the explanations that are offered all affect our intention—and when we put greater intention behind what we’re doing, we naturally get better results. In short, the more you learn about the “what” and the “why,” the easier and more effective the “how” becomes. (My hope is that this book will do the same for you; the more you know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, the better results you’re bound to get.) We

But when there isn’t a return to homeostasis (because you keep perceiving a threat), vital energy is lost in the system. You have less energy in your internal environment for cell growth and repair, long-term building projects on a cellular level, and healing when that energy is being channeled elsewhere. The cells shut down, they no longer communicate with one another, and they become “selfish.” It’s not time for routine maintenance (let alone for making improvements); it’s time for defense.

examines how we either live in the anticipation of future events or repeatedly revisit past memories (or both) until the body begins to believe it is living in a time other than the present moment. The latest research supports the notion that we have a natural ability to change the brain and body by thought alone, so that it looks biologically like some future event has already happened. Because you can make thought more real than anything else, you can change who you are from brain cell to gene, given the right understanding. When you learn how to use your attention and access the present, you will enter through the door to the quantum field, where all potentials exist.

Isn’t it ironic, then, that we keep all of our attention on the 0.00001 percent of reality that is physical? Are we missing something?
Joe Dispenza, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One

Since the neocortex is divided into two halves called hemispheres, it makes sense that we analyze and spend a lot of time thinking in duality: you know, good versus bad, right versus wrong, positive versus negative, male versus female, straight versus gay, Democrat versus Republican, past versus future, logic versus emotion, old versus new, head versus heart—you get the idea. And if we’re living in stress, the chemicals we’re pumping into our systems tend to drive the whole analytical process faster. We analyze even more in order to predict future outcomes so that we can protect ourselves from potential worst-case scenarios based on past experience. There

Her symptoms began to ease. Within a short time, all the physical symptoms associated with her illness disappeared. Sheila had healed herself of a debilitating disease. More important, she had also freed herself from the chains of her self-imprisonment. A
Joe Dispenza, Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind

What we’re conditioned to believe about ourselves, and what we’re programmed to think other people think about us, affects our performance, including how successful we are.
Joe Dispenza, You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter

our bodies do have an innate intelligence that enables them to serve us with a chemical array of natural healing compounds.
Joe Dispenza, You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter

All of the elements that these cells manufacture are proteins. Proteins control our immune system, digest our food, heal our wounds, catalyze chemical reactions, support the structural integrity of our bodies, provide elegant molecules to communicate between cells, and much more. In short, proteins are the expression of life (and the health of our bodies).
Joe Dispenza, You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter

when you change your emotions, you can change the expression of your genes (turning some on and others off) because you are sending a new chemical signal to your DNA, which can then instruct your genes to make different proteins—up-regulating or down-regulating to make all kinds of new building blocks that can change the structure and function of your body.
Joe Dispenza, Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the Uncommon

Living in survival entails living in stress and functioning as a materialist, believing that the outer world is more real than the inner world. When you are under the gun of the fight-or-flight nervous system, being run by its cocktail of intoxicating chemicals, you are programmed to be concerned only about your body, the things or people in your environment, and your obsession with time. Your brain and body are out of balance. You are living a predictable life. However, when you are truly in the elegant state of creation, you are no body, no thing, no time—you forget about yourself. You become pure consciousness, free from the chains of the identity that needs the outer reality to remember who it thinks it is.
Joe Dispenza, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One

Motivated as they were by serious illnesses both physical and mental, the people I interviewed realized that in thinking new thoughts, they had to go all the way. To become a changed person, they would have to rethink themselves into a new life. All of those who restored their health to normal did so after making a conscious decision to reinvent themselves.
