The truth is porn is great. So the problem is well ... it's great.

I wanted to share some wisdom from a called Jordan Peterson's Drinking song. And by looking at addiction through this lenses I helped me quite a bit.

So here is a truth. Porn is powerful, effective, fun and free. That is why its so common, thats why there are so many websites with it. That is why we need an entire website dedicated to dealing with it.

Its powerful because it convenient exactly when you are weak. It is effective because it fools the brain when you are at a point where you want ur brain to be fooled especially when reality isnt going well.

So if you want to quit porn u need something better than that. And porn is pretty good so thats hard. Like if you asked someone who watches porn why they watch porn ... its like that is a stupid question ... Why do people drink after work? Why do people buy junk food?

So that is the wrong question. The right question is how come we dont eat junk food , drink and watch porn all the time?

And its because there are more meaningful worthwhile things that need to be done. Things that impact the world or the very least improve our lives.

So lets go back to it. Is porn great? Well its great in that moment but u do stupid and fiendish things.

You look at fetishes that make u feel ashamed.
You fap yourself stupid and raw.
You waste your time.
You end up hording porn and saving links.
You lose energy
You lose motivation
You lose charisma/manliness/confidence.
You feel weak (minded and physically)
You miss out on opporunities
You scare away potential mates
You have to lie about it.

And many more consequences. So no doubt its fun in that moment but it leaves u picking up the pieces. And so its not free at all is it? And its not that great. I mean its still pretty great but you are greater and u can have better by sacrificing that.
The idea isnt to be afraid of naked women or men. Its to be brave to face everything else in ur life so u dont have to go in ur room, turn off the light and fap.


Face what u have to in life to make u strong. Face the women in ur life. They might reject u or they might not. But u will get strong and more attractive and find someone.

Better isnt just being straight and using all ur will power not to peek. You need an adventure. You need something in your life worth sacrificing that vice for.

So porn is great but the problem is ... there are CONSEQUENCES.

 

Its like those guys on the forum who quit porn only to get addicted to prostitutes. Fun until u realize she left u an std and took extra money out ur wallet xD.

Thats a good sacrifice.

its great like getting super drunk all the time and destroying ur liver is great. Great like crack cocaine. Great riding a rollercoaster after eating too much and then puking ur guts out lol.
