Is it possible to recover from death grip?

Hey everyone, new to all of this and posted my story yesterday in the New To forum.
So recently I came to the realization that I have been addicted to porn and was caught in the PMO cycle. I very rarely if ever used any sort of lube and used death grip pretty much every time. Practically daily for years (about 6 yrs). It has left my member with brown discolored areas, and I fear that the damage to the nerves has ruined me. It also looks indented if you will where I gripped hardest. I know nerve damage is nerve damge and most likey won't be recovered fully, but can I recover from this and regain more sensation? I'm at the point in my life where I'm almost done with my degree and would like to start a family in the near future. I've been dealing with anxiety and what now seems like a depressed state so any advice would be welcome. My big worry is that I have caused irreversable damage to myself and won't be able to enjoy any sort of sexual pleasure. Am I screwed (no pun intended), can I recover?

 

About a week so far. But I would I just grip it and rip it . No special grip really. I really hope it comes back but I'm going to hold off for as long as possible and hopefully rebbot myself
