Should I delete my stash?

Is there a way to download a program that permanently deletes stuff? I am sure it's out there somewhere.

 

The cosplayers are very suggestive though. These are pics I would masturbate to in the past.

So the only way to make a deleted file "un-recoverable" is to put some other file into the disk(hard disk partition)which contained the P file in order to overwrite it.The more files you add the more difficult it becomes to recover the deleted file.I heard deleted files will still remain in the hard disk waiting to be overwritten by some other file.Once overwritten the chances of recovering it become less and the more files you add the more difficult it becomes to recover it to the point where it can't be recovered.

 

Just get rid of that crap. Would you want your wife or daughter looking at that stuff? Would you want them knowing that YOU look at that stuff? Take a hammer to the drive and be done with it. Throw that crap away man.

Also, someone mentioning that they have porn or softcore stuff that is worth money. So what? You lose money through wasting time masturbating when you could be productive. In my case, I masturbated so much I caused myself medical problems and now I have a see a doctor. That all costs money.

I havent had any shitty porn stuff on my computer for the last 6 years. And I still recall how I felt destroying an external hard drive with 100GB of porn. At first I felt ok, then a day later, I was sorry for what I did because I lost all the so-called "good stuff" which took me years to find and download.

But what the heck.. guess what, I am still here trying to beat this addiction. Porn shit is just a button click away, that's why it is so detrimental. So, you better get a decent porn filter/blocker or if you have an accountability partner, let that person monitor what you actually do on your computer.

Personally I took a different approach:

I encrypted everything with the password "nofap"...this way if I wanted to relapse, my stash itself reminds me that I'm about to fail. But because I have the porn I like on my PC, I don't go searching for something else. Basically I turned my own porn stash into a relapse prevention tool ;-)

Works for me, most likely this approach doesn't work for everyone. But if you go encryption, don't use a complicated password like fgbgtadfszth564 that you hide somewhere, that wont stop you...use something simple that reminds you that you are about to fail.

The reason behind it would be far too easy for me to get new porn. I know there are good blockers out there, but I also know how to get around them...and I can't work without admin rights on my PC, so crippling my PC in a way that might work wasn't an option for me.

i deleted everything but I certainly take your point about using access criteria (passwords etc) as reminders to stop.
