How long did you reboot for?

 

A lot of longer term rebooters report the "hangover" effect from O that you're feeling.

Does it happen after you MO or just after sex for you? Is there a repeated pattern of feeling this way after O?

The ups and downs of this journey are incredibly frustrating but also incredibly common. I'm sure you'll continue to heal with time.

 

Totally agree. And I've been in your shoes before. I used to abstain from PMO for 20-30 days at a time, but only because I setup a date with a woman for a night of fun at the end. This poor woman is a divorced mother of 4 and I would take complete advantage of her during this night. No remorse whatsoever. I feel terrible now, and I'm paying for it. I tricked my mind and body into abstaining to make that night better, but all the while knowing that relief was around the corner if I just kept pushing through. Afterwards, I experienced some of the lowest points of my life. Completely sapped of energy with no desire to see or talk to anyone. Complete isolation. A terrible place for the heart of a man.

It's a bit scary to leap off the cliff knowing that relief isn't around the corner, but that's what you have to do to free yourself from this prison and addiction. Cut the head off the snake and decide that you are going to live a life of no PMO regardless of whether you have relations again or not. So I ask you now, how bad do you want it?

 

Do you feel the post orgasm hangover when you M without using the P as well? How long does it usually last for?

 

Then sack up and do it. Come here everyday and post about how you are doing and the struggles that you are facing. I'm no expert either, but I'm 34yo and currently in the longest streak since probably age 17-18. I feel better everyday and the struggles get easier to deal with. I can certainly attest to that. Once you get a couple weeks under your belt start encouraging others. That will in turn help you continue your journey.
