    Hi guys,

I just have relapsed.. So i had to reset my counter :(. This was my first attempt and it was almost a week.. I'm kinda proud of myself haha! It was a mix between boredom and urge to masturbate.. But now i want to break my record and make it at least to 2 weeks or even better 30 days!

Is it wrong that i am not angry with myself or is it just a matter of being realistic?

    Hi thisisit

You should be proud of yourself mate! 6 days is great, I'm only on day 4 and it's already really tough to stop myself so 6+ days is freaking awesome!

There' no reason to be angry at yourself, just remember why you've decided to do this and take a note of what led you to relapse so you can avoid it next time.

    Good luck!

Dont be angry with yourself! I used to get so mad at everything whenever I relapsed. But its just not worth it.. I'd say give yourself the right to curse and throw things around if you have the temper, but then try to let it go. You want to change your life and failling is a part of it. Just get back on nofap and practise. Cause that's really what it is all about; practise and experience. Soon you can go 30 days of nofap if you're commited.

    Keep going!

Don't worry dude, you did well for 1st attempt. Self regulation is like a muscle, the more you train it the stronger it gets. Good luck mate.

I dont think you should feel any shame about it, it would be fair to be disappointed I guess...but you're still here, right? I also dont think its a matter of being "realistic" with yourself, because you could have (realistically) gone longer - but that's not the point.

I would argue that the point is being honest with yourself. Honest about relapsing, honest about why it happened, and honest with us on the forum. PMO thrives in the shadows, so whenever we bring it into the light, by being honest about it with ourselves amd others, it loses its power.

Keep on truckin'! It isnt easy, but it gets easier the longer you stick with it.

I've never thought about it like that but what you said about PMO thriving in the shadows is very true thank you for that realization.:D

Thanks for the support guys! Now i try to quit watching porn, i realize how much it was involved in my daily life! I never thought it would have that much of an impact in my life. I now know even more why i want to quit with all of that.
