Hi everyone , I have been trying NoFap for years now, stopped watching porn for a couple of months now but my longest streak with no MO was 11 days, which I just broke a few minutes ago. I´ve watched porn since I was 13, I´m 29 now , that's a long time and I managed to quit porn recently but I´m having a hard time with quitting MO.

I don´t know what else to do , I came here for some advice, support and tips.

    Thanks

Thanks man!, I did feel a bit better since quitting porn, but not sure if my OCD got worse or by quitting MO or if I just need to push through.

Just keep trying. Do try a journal. I too have tried many times over the past two decades trying to quit. I have, over the years, deleted my porn stash, destroyed the backup CDs (yes I backed up porn on CD, LOL), deleted all the links over a dozen times.

It’s easy to relapse when you’re down and feeling alone. But one day, you will wake up, and decide it’s time to stop.

I think once you feel the effects of all your testostorne pumping throughout your body youll find it easier to deal with. Takes a couple weeks. Your body wants you to keep that vitamin enriched fluid of yours for yourself. Dont waste it anymore. Only allow yourself to spill thy seed the way nature intended. Inside a warm vagina. Thats the way id want to go if i was a sperm. Not on a hanky getting flushed down a drain...
Come to think of it i was a sprm once.

  8. We can do all the tips and clever tricks in the world, but sometimes, you just have to push through.

There's nothing wrong with tips and tricks, and they really do help, but you have to bite the bullet sometimes.

I visualise my goal most days. When things get particularly hard (pun intended), I set aside quality time to breathe deeply, visualise my goal, and ask my higher powers for help. Finally, I come here for encouragement. My visualised goal includes not only my own benefits but also the benefits that my success will have on the people around me.

    Good luck.

Thank you all! It feels so much better to know that I´m not completely on my own, I´ll keep trying my best to achieve longer streaks each time.

  10. I wonder if it would help you to reread the articles on the main site, to remind you of how the process works, and of tips and trip-ups. In the years since you started Nofap, it's likely that some articles have been changed or added.

As you've been doing PMO since a tender age, I'd recommend that you get personal help if it's available to you. Any type of therapy that appeals to you, whether it's counselling, CBT, hypnotherapy, clinical psychology or whatever, might help.

An accountability partner might be something to consider.

  11. Read others journals. Listen to self help and most importantly......GROW YOURSELF!

Thanks for the advice, I guess it is a good idea to reread the articles, as for therapy , I was diagnosed with OCD a couple of months ago but haven´t found a good OCD therapist where I live, I hope I find someone soon.
