EU court says UK can cancel Brexit, May drops Brexit deal vote

We voted to leave. Doesn't that mean we should leave? Democracy is dead. We'll be in the EU then We'll be communists under the labour party.
I'm leaving this shit hole first chance I get.

 

You say we voted to leave, and in a way that's right. the majority voted to leave. But seriously, "we" didn't vote to leave. Over 17 million of us voted to leave, but over 16 million of us voted the other way. We voted both ways.

If the people who won the referendum delivered on what they said, that'd be one thing. They said it'd be easy to keep trade with Europe and with other parts of the world, and they said we'd make money to spend on the NHS. If that had all been true we'd have to put our hands up and say yes, they were right, fair enough.

But none of those things seem to be true. We've not got a trade deal with the EU or anyone else, and there's no sign of any. We're paying a lot of money to leave, not making any. I think there's just been an NHS cut announced. They've not been able to deliver, and surprise surprise the majority has tipped against Brexit now if you look at the polls. The government's warning us about food shortages next year. It's not right just to leave at all costs, when food shortages was never what those 17 million people voted for at all.

Britain's not a "shit hole" and it's sad to see you say that. But it has been split apart by the referendum, which is another reason not to just do whatever a referendum says. They ban referendums in Germany. Bad people use them to do bad things.

We need to stop accelerating at the wall and think again about Brexit.

 

Lets have that 2nd referendum and a 3rd. Fuck it have a 4th and 5th

One would have been plenty, if what more people voted for than the other thing had turned out mostly true. The reason we're in this mess and thinking about doing it a second time and you're so angry about what's happening is that what was sold turned out to be not true.

 

We haven't even left so how can anything turn out to be true.

 

Has there been a terrorist attack in Britain committed by EU citizens? There was the IRA but I don't think Brexit's about keeping Irish people out.

 

There is no trade deal between Britain and the EU. They said that'd be done before Brexit, and it's not. It turned out not to be true.

 

I said Europeans not Brits and they are coming from somewhere and they're not Irish.

 

And who's fault is that.

 

It's obviously got nothing to do with Brexit then. Sounds as if you back Brexit because you're against terrorists or immigrants from outside Europe. That makes no sense.

 

If you promise something then don't deliver, it's your fault. Leave people like Gove and Boris said there'd be a trade deal and it'd be easy. It's their fault, they messed up. That's why nobody's happy, not even strong Leave voters, and its why people are talking about another referendum, and you're angry about it.
