This is an awesome thread! I did a year when I was 19, I'd never felt better in my life. Since then, I fell back into old habits. But I'm back, and it's already starting to feel like old times again. Congratulations!!

At this point, I hardly remember the withdrawals themselves (as the severe ones didn't last for too long) but I have slight memories of the severest ones coming forth and back for the first 5-6 weeks or so, especially the first 2-3 weeks. The hardest part to overcome was the first month (or five weeks) as I didn't need much to get triggered and when I did, my legs and arms started to tremble a bit, followed by some light sweating. When I started to meditate a little every day, I got better control of it for sure. After I got past 90-100 days, things went pretty much on autopilot and I didn't feel much of withdrawal at all.
You got to keep these two things in mind when it comes to PMO-withdrawal:
    1. The longer you have been watching porn and masturbated (and the more extreme the content you have consumed), the longer time will a reboot and fading of withdrawal symptoms take. Things like your current physical health, diet and medications do also play a part in it.
The reason for why my withdrawal symptoms faded quite fast and that my reboot has gone so well might be due to the fact that I was: a moderate user for many years (not escalating too much), in good physical health when stopping, taking no medications and had a good diet. I had also been free from pornography for over a year before starting the NoFap-journey.

    2. If you don't have any specific interests, hobbies or activities to replace PMO with as you stop it, you will of course feel a big void in your life that is ont replaced by something. That void/gap of meaningful activities in your life will of course make you flatlining and have a prolonged period of withdrawal symptoms than you would if your life would be filled with interesting activities.

Although my goal is to meet a girlfriend (and hopefully future wife) during the next year, I got to look at that project/process as "The icing of the cake" and not "The cake itself", meaning that if my life is already great as it is (even without a girlfriend), finding a woman will not become my top priority as I have plenty of meaningful activities on the side. It will become that little extra thing that makes your life even greater but simultaneously, I won't need her around me in order to feel happy and fulfilled.
That mindset will decrease the sense of neediness even more and you will have much more fun when talking to different women as you have pretty much freed yourself of the outcome which makes a big difference in your conversations.
You also have to establish a mindset of abundance and not scarcity. As soon as you have that mindset going, you will feel more inclined to go and grab whatever comes to you and if it doesn't, you will try again and again until it comes to you.

    Hi there ,
I have never actually had an intimate relationship with a woman. I would very much like to meet someone in 2019 - my goal!! I do feel more confident in myself since starting NoFap and the energy it gives you is immense.

In your opinion if we are still getting wet dreams after 100 days no pm are we doing something wrong? I've been free from masturbation and porn but I still get a wet dream at least once a week. I'm unsure on what I'm doing or what I should change

    Hi there!
I am glad that you feel inspired to reach a target of NoFap. It will be different for each person, but to be honest, PMO does rob you of you a clear focus. The PMO is the focus and nothing else can get in. It is similar to being addicted to drugs, alcohol or even chocolate! I very much liked your karate analogy. Thanks for sharing. I will be going for the 500 days and eventually a 1000. The sky is the limit. You have nearly completed 100 days - a great achievement. Keep going!!

Just to let everyone know that as of yesterday (8 Jan 2019) I reached my one year anniversary of NoFap - and no falling off the wagon! I am pleased (with myself) because it is not easy and I could have relapsed (but didn't). I know we all have it in us to have the will to succeed, so please do not give up. After a while it becomes second nature and fapping is pushed to the back of your brain as you focus on other things. Happy no fapping everyone!!! :)

Hi there - sure, the thing with the foreskin. I found that obviously when masturbating you get the regular practice of pulling the foreskin back over the glans (or ribbed part of the penis). With NoFap the foreskin can get tight. If this does happen, I tend to induce an erection and pull the foreskin down over the glans so that it remains quite loose. I don't feel the need to masturbate even when doing this - it is purely to keep the foreskin relaxed. I would suggest doing this if you have been on NoFap for a few months - don't want you relapsing!!! Does this help you, Rollercoaster?

My habits at the time were simply the following:

    -Exercising almost daily.
    -Reading something every day.
    -Learning something new every day.
-Eating at least 8-9 fruits/vegetables every day (many days, I ate more than that).
-Sticking to a diet with no meat or dairy in it (not even eggs). I only ate (and still eat) meat once in a while and then, that's not even a large amount.
-Being outdoors and experience nature every day.

My interests were (and still are): running (training for the marathon), cooking, reading, traveling, aviation, nature and just being outdoors enjoying the present moment and experiencing the nature and its forces.
